I like Real Techniques sponges (Beauty Blenders are far too expensive and I can't imagine they could be better than RT's anyway) so when I started thinking about replacements, I came here.

Each sponge is differently shaped, as you can see from the site photos, and I'm still experimenting to see which one I like best.  Both have a flat side that I like very much for smoothing foundations on the broader areas of my face.  So far, the colors haven't transferred, and I wash them frequently with RT's liquid brush soap.

The stand is great, too, for drying the sponges-- and for making sure they don't roll away when I'm not looking!

I bought this yesterday and used it for the first time today. 1 When I started using it on my face, the sponge started to break down. It left little pink pieces all over my face. 2 I went to rinse it off it and it was bleeding pink. 3 The sponge started falling apart after that. Not happy with it at all. Was super exciting to get my first sponge but was super disappointed. Will not be buying this brand ever again. Wasted my money
