This is a great buy, there is no way you will find a better one ever. Well constructed, looks great and fits wider width opening…100 hundred percent a happy woman…I did buy this for my grandbaby Luca who is a dog! Lol

Great buy!

We have an in home daycare and this gate is working very well for us keeping little ones away from the door and stairs. It has also created a small entry so people can drop of kids without being bombarded by other children. I would recommend this gate to any one with small children or pets.

very helpful gate

Bought the gate for tri-level lower steps with 1 flat wall and step extended past opposite wall, so was able to configure the 3-piece gate around the step to attach to opposite  perpendicular wall.  Easy to open with one hand.  
Only problem was a crack in the bottom hinge part which I have yet to contact the company about a replacement, so don't know how easy that will be.  However it doesn't affect our use of the gate and it keeps the 11-month old from climbing and falling down the stairs.

Great gate for unique configurations

We purchased this for the large opening in our deck, to keep our puppies from getting out. It works for the large space, but feels very flimsy and light weight. Hoping it lasts until the puppies are old enough to not take off running when we open the back door. The shipping took 3 days longer than the website said it would take.

Works, but flimsy

This product works well for the purpose of my purchase ( separating pets new room) however I find that even when everything is put together tight and proper, it is still a little flimsy. The door is a little loose as well. Overall though you get what you paid for and I expected this quality for this price which was fine by me.

JUST gets the job done

I was hesitant to buy this after reading other reviews, but there are not a lot of options for gates covering 75 inch openings. It looks nice.  Its design is not ideal. It is very easy for an adult or child to move it. But my one year old daughter was able to pull herself up to standing position with it and it did not move far, buckle, or cause her to fall. Since she is the one we bought it for, it seems to be useful for its intended purpose. I don't know if it would hold up to a toddler actively trying to escape, however. What I truly hate is the latch system for the entry point. I did not pay close enough attention to that part of the design before purchasing. It is difficult to latch and unlatch with one hand compared to another gate we have. You cannot just let it swing shut. The latch will fall into the wrong position and cause the gate to stay open. It also opens one way only instead of in both directions, which is a problem if my child moves herself or a toy directly in front of it. Overall, unless it breaks immediately (we have only had it two days), I am not planning on returning it. It suffices. But it is not great. One last note, my husband had no problem installing it, but he did have to use an extender on his drill. It would be much more difficult without an extender for the drill bit.

Okay for the size and discounted price, bad latch

Not sure how long this product will stand up to my pet; it fell apart as I pulled it out of the box. the bars at the end are secured with very cheap plastic hardware; had to add screws to "lock" in some of the hinge parts that were only pressure fitted into a metal receptacle to prevent it from being pulled out

Flimsy; cheap quality

Cheaply made nowhere near the quality of previously purchased Regalo tall regular door gate. Received the gate and it looks like it has been used, the plastic parts are scuffed and paint is scratched, the metal is so light weight any large dog would collapse the gate. Would have returned but needed ASAP, will have to use until I can find a better gate. If this is an example of Regalo's quality it has really fallen since I purchased my other gate 8 years ago. I will not be purchasing or recommending their products to anyone.

Poor quality gate

My 10 months old moves it easily. Instead of giving me the peace of mind that my baby can be in that area with no worries, I have to keep moving him away from there, cause once he holds it - it moves and baby may fall trying to lean on it. Very unstable!

This gate was specifically researched and ordered to fit a large opening. The gate was NOT the width stated in the description. was of poor and flimsy quality, and thus was returned.
