Initially when I set it up, I mixed my own fuel/oil, and used a store bought measuring cup specifically made for that purpose. I tried to start it over and over again, and it wouldn't work. My husband came home from work and also tried for a good 30 minutes, it would initially start but then immediate stop. After reading other reviews I was worried , planning to return it the next day. 

I went online and decided to drain the fuel:oil mix I did, and I bought pre-mixed stuff from Canadian tire(as I read this is the number one reason people have the same issue). After following instructions, for flooding engine. I got it started. Now I'm not sure if it was because we flooded it when trying to start it before, or because maybe something was wrong with my mixed fuel:oil, but ever since, I haven't had any issues starting it. 

It works really good and gets the job done. Although it was a pain at first, i don't regret buying at all, despite my initial thought. I also don't have any experience with a gas weed eater; I've always used battery powered so it was a little trial and error at first, which again must of been from my lack of experience with the gas weed eater, but I give 5 star

Perfect for residential

Piece of crap. Would not start. I have other 2 stroke equipment. I know how to work them. After an hr and two blisters, I returned it.
