I think it works great. It is a little picky on the upper lip,but, it should get better with time (that's a sensitive area). I'm a senior citizen and now have developed some fuzz on my face. I did use it on my legs and that was good also. I did take extra time on my upper lip and would go to another area then gently back again. I hope this helps those that are on the fence. I checked with Amazon also, but if I had a problem with it I could go to Walmart to return it. It doesn't appear that I will be returning it.

The first I'd ever heard of an epilator was on a blog from some other lady. I've never used an epilator before, and I don't have any friends that I know of that have used one, but I was very curious to find out how well they worked and if they really were as painful to use for at least the first few times as I had heard. I had also heard that they are one of the best ways to remove unwanted body hair long term, with the least amount of ingrown hairs, and the smoothest results. I read reviews on several different models. I picked this one for price and other people's ratings. I personally liked that it was rechargeable, I leave it plugged in as its convenient for me, the cord is long enough for the most part. When I did use it unplugged it did start to slow down after about a half hour. Pain-wise, well, yeah, it made me suck in my breath a few times, but that was mainly in the more tender areas, like your Achilles tendon, your bikini line (yeah, but it was WORTH IT! No bumps, no irritation, and no rough hair growing back immediately like from shaving or chemical removal), HOWEVER, once you were at an area for a while, it kind of went numb, so I recommend staying in that area and getting all of the hair while its numb! LOL! Armpits weren't as bad as I thought they'd be, and they are no longer irritated from shaving, which is REALLY NICE! Facial hair was the most tender to remove. Still getting up the nerve to remove some of it in certain areas.... ow, but once you do it once, it is easier and less painful the next time, and even less painful and easier the next time..... This was much easier than I thought it would be to do. Much more time consuming than shaving, but the results are AWESOME compared to any other hair removal method I have EVER used. This is super easy to clean, the heads are super easy to change out, and it fits in your hand nicely. Not to mention - no blades to cut you! I SUPER like that! :D

Great for first time user

I found this product to work very well and I was please with my purchase. Epilation is not a comfortable task, but it is very worth while. I took a hot shower prior to using the product to open up the pores which I felt promoted comfort. I found that holding the skin taught helped ease the discomfort. I noticed that boney areas of skin such as my knees were more uncomfortable than areas such as my calf. I followed the directions and made circular motions while using the product. It is not perfect and I noticed a few hairs that I had to focus on to remove them. Overall, I am very pleased. I think the price is good and that it is a quality product. Epilation is not for everyone but I am hooked. It is well worth the mild discomfort that occurs with epilation.

Quality product

This is the third or fourth Epilator I have purchased. This one is very efficient at removing the hair, even the small fine hairs others in the past have missed. I like the fact that it has the 2 size heads and can be charged for cordless use. The only down side is it is a bit noisy but I can put up with that because is works so well.

It works great...I use it on face and chin because I have so much facial hair as I get older. Luckily my hair is light but still bothers me...loved it from the first try.

Great item..Love it!

I love this depilator. It is really worthy to buy it, the best among of the other depilators. Very easy to use it, it removes hair without forcing it at all. Very convinient for using at home, it comes with a brush, and two heads, one for legs underarm, and the other head to be used for removing face hair. I love it!!!!

I really like it. This is the second time I have ever used an epilator. The first time was when the original epilady came out, it was awful and extremely painful. This is so much better than waxing and depilatories. I highly recommend it and wish I discovered it sooner.

Works so much better and faster than my old one! I have used epilators for years and if you are new to this type of hair removal it will hurt until you get used to it. I especially like the power and the little rubber guard on the top that helps you gauge the amount of pressure necessary. I have a tendency to push too hard and strip the gears on the unit. Perfect in between model price wise that I would definitely buy again and recommend!

Epilator

It's the very first epilator I ever used. I was scared of the pain reading other reviews of epilators, but it doesn't hurt more than tweezing or waxing in my opinion. I like how it doesn't need to be plugged into the wall all the time and the options of speed on the epilator. It gets even the the thinnest of hairs and the coarse hairs. However, I find it a bit loud. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend buying this one.

This epilator does the job great.

Well it would be unfair to rate this product because I saw hairs on the blade before opening the box. It was a used epilator in the new box sent to me. Returned the product on the same day.
