It was my first time ever to cut my husbands hair. Although I chose this model just because it was the only one left during lockdown, it turned out to be one of the most valuable puchase we ever made. Remington Vacuum Hair Cut Kit

Purchased this due to a NYT review and recommendation. It definitely lived up to expectations. A little nervouse about using it on myself at first but it was fairlly easy to learn. We were pleased with the result. The trimmer is well built and designed. The vacuum feature is a nice benefit. There's not a lot of clean up.

BOUGHT ONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND IS STILL GOOD BUT NOT CUTTING AS GOOD SO I USE THAT ONE FOR GROOMING MY DOG AND IT WAS A CORDLESS/CHARGE BUT THIS ONE I JUST BOUGHT IS NOT AND I THOUGHT I WAS ORDEREING THE CORDLESS WHICH I WOULD RATHER HAVE. I DO LOVE THE REMINGTON VACUUM TRIMMER.

Works well. Vacuum system is strong enough to keep hair in dispenser. Attachments are nice and are pretty accurate in measurements! Glad for the lubrication to use on moving parts. Holds up well to lots of use! This will be my 3rd clippers! (since 2015)

Keeping it simple. quick and easy to use!

Good unit.  My hair is relatively short and this unit really catches about 98% of all the hair trimmed.  It is a high quality unit.  It has been a lifesaver during Covid.  I have found that I can cut my own hair almost as good as my long time haircutter.  I am considering continuing to cut my own hair (even after Covid), to save both time and money.  The Remington vacuum hair trimmer allows me to do that.  I can cut my own hair in less than 10 minutes.  Be sure to avoid some other sellers who have really jacked up their prices on this item during Covid.

Good quality unit...

It works well for me but, the description is misleading. Under "features" it says "cordless" but, it is not battery powered at all. Corded use only. I was a bit disappointed (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) because several of the reviews stated that it was cordless but, that you could also use it while it was plugged in so you didn't have to pause and wait for it to recharge.
Aside from that, it works great. The vacuum suction is very good. I cutf length off my hair and it caught every bit as long as I didn't let it get too full before emptying it. It's also very easy to clean out because the filter screen is attached to the catch tray so, nothing gets trapped around the motor.

Not battery powered.

Well after reading several reviews on how amazing this was I decided to give it a try. Those reviews must have been paid for by Remmington because this clipper lacks. "No Mess Vacuum Cutting" it says on the box. However it's not true. I still have hair in my sink and everywhere else now from the design of an exhaust fan at the bottom of the clippers. Good luck finding where it all went. Also it's cheap plastic and not worth the $40 price tag. I hope someone finds this honest review helpful. Attached a picture of my sink after the quick use.
