Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They need to return to the old formula. The new formula doesn't provide the same coverage as the original. I could use the original formula as light coverage when I didn't want to go full on make up. The original would even out my skin tone and redness. The new formula also feels a bit more oily and is pretty much transparent providing no coverage. I purchased the new formula but will be returning it.

The original product was such a huge find, and I was a huge fan and evangelizer of the original formula, but this new version is watered down, doesn't provide as much coverage, and doesn't feel as lightweight or seemlessly incorporated into your skin. Not sure what decision was made by whom to go from "WOW!" to MEH. Looks like I'll be searching for a new solution. Incredibly disappointing.

The ORIGINAL formula was WAY BETTER

You had a fantastic product and you torpedoed it. The Rescue Balm was previously my holy grail — I wore it every day and often instead of makeup. I don't know what happened, but the new version is just awful. The finish is sticky, not smooth + glowy like the original, and the color correcting is just off. It used to actually enhance my skin, now it makes it look worse. It's a huge bummer, and I haven't found another product in the market to substitute. It looks like a lot of other reviewers are in the same boat. Dreaming of a day when the original formula returns (not a new formula 3. 0, the ORIGINAL).

Why why why mess with a GOOD thing???

I used this product for years and it was the only thing that helped my redness and sensitive skin. I loved it and used it every day. They recently changed the formulary. The green color is completely different and the texture is completely different. It does absolutely nothing to help redness now.

new formulary is AWFUL

I would give the green corrector OLD formula a 100 out of 10 stars it was so perfect. This new formula, like others have stated, is really oily and doesn't even correct the red. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY!!! And with a quickness PLEASE!!!!!!

I have used this product for years and the reformulation is so bad. I thought I received a bad tube. It is so sticky, does not apply evenly, and has an awful orange hue. I will be switching to Dr Jart's version. It's too bad they are willing to sacrifice their quality and lose customers.

Terrible new formula

I see so many people saying this new formula is absolutely terrible, and I agree. It has no coverage, hard to blend, and feels cheap. As someone with rosacea this was my go to. Now you have put money before your customers and made the product cheap. It doesn't work. Bring the old formula back!! Time for me to find a different product.

Listen to your customers

The old formula of this was perfect—I have awful rosacea but I could swipe this stuff on and it would cover my redness and make my skin look great with no extra makeup. The new formula sucks. It literally covers nothing and just disintegrates on my skin. Won't be buying this again unless the formula changes back.

Bring back the old formula

The old formula was the best! I wouldn't wear any other makeup like foundation or concealer. It applied so nicely and covered my blemishes like they weren't even there. The new formula is more yellow and doesn't cover anything. I will not be buying Hero again unless they switch it back to the old formula.
