Can be excellent, but also inconsistent with some batches.

Yummie when they are actually the hearts. Last time was labeled as hearts but they were the bitter whole romaine. Not impressed with last purchase and we ordered every 1-2 weeks.

Hearts delicious

Not the brand I'm used to seeing from the US, but from instead from Québec.  At first glance, the hearts look small (I guess they are, a bit) but they are very fresh and very green, with little "white waste" to be seen.  I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.

a pleasant surprise

While for most items it's useful to have pictures accompanying them, it doesn't help with romaine hearts. Some brands bag of three are pretty good, but some brands are awful, not really 'hearts' at all, but you don't get to pick the way it's set up like this.

Got lucky this time.

Good price on romaine hearts out of season, nice big ones too.   Lots were in stock so I may have picked a bad one.  I had to throw out about 7 or 8 leaves from 2 of the hearts as they were "rusted".   Its winter though so it  can't be helped (everyone is gunna have  quality issues right now with  this product).  They made a great, and fresh Caesar salad and 2 THICK BLT sandwiches for my Sunday dinner.  4 stars for these.

There is nothing wrong with the product.  My question is that when I checked the on line information the product showed the price was $4.93 .  When I ordered the Romaine Pack of 3 was $6.93.  Big difference in price over one day!

Why is romaine suddenly $8 for 3 heads of lettuce?  Especially when the quality has been going down.

The lettuce was slightly wilted.  I can still use it but if I shopped in person I would  not have chosen that package.

Too small. Each bundle is not the length of a banana. Why are these being picked with so few leaves? A 3 pack is smaller than a  single romaine. Not worth the purchase.

perhaps it is the time of year, but the leaves were sparse and reminds me of end of season plants that have gone to seed.  i will but in person now to avoid this

poor quality

On delivery! really not good the feet of the 3 salads were rusty brown, the rusty leaves I threw 1 1/2 disappointing for the quality.
