We were looking for a step stool that is high enough to enable my small 3 year old son to be able to reach the bathroom faucet, yet not so high that he isn't able to climb up it. The two steps on this stool are perfect for him to climb up by himself and easily reach the faucet. It is rugged and sturdy so I have absolutely no concerns that it will slip out from under him. It is 16 inches high, with the first step being 8 inches from the bottom, and the next step 8 inches up from that. It is a large stool, so keep that in mind. It is about 18" wide by about 18" deep. If you are looking for a rugged, sturdy, good quality step stool, look no further. This is great!

I purchased this stool for my great granddaughter so she could brush her teeth and was her hands in the bathroom sink. I realize it does not have and side rails to hold on to, but I would never leave a child that young alone. It works perfectly for us and when our little one no longer needs it for the purpose it was purchased, it will still be a handy foot stool around the house.

Great long lasting product

I am really happy with this article. I bought it last month and it has a great capacity that can carry people who weigh more. The only thing is that it takes up a little space.

I ordered three of these stools to replace three older ones that I had for years, and that all had broken supports. These new ones are much sturdier than the ones they are replacing, and have solid sides so should not break down. They feel very secure for standing on. The only slight negative is that they are much heavier for moving around, and they only came in black.
