Sabre's Window/Door Alarm may be used as a door alarm sensor, an alarm window sensor or by augmenting your existing system. Sabre's Window or Door alarm alerts the home alarm system when a door or window is opened. Sensors can be placed up to 500 feet (150 m) from main control panel, no wiring is needed plus sensors mount on either side (requires 2-AAA batteries, not included) and provides battery status update with low battery indicator. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed something easy and non-techy to install on doors and windows to ensure our 94-year old mother wouldn't wander outside without us knowing. In the past she's opened the sliding back door and walked down the street. She easily gets lost and will get very upset... it's horrible. We have great neighbors who are aware and very helpful but these little door window alarms are fantastic. They were super easy to attach to the sliding door, her bedroom window and our side door! They even came with the batteries and little mounting strips. I recommend you plan where you want to place them cause they stick really well!! I went to move it after a day (since mom kept poking at it) and it was securely mounted on the window. The settings (we use the little bell) are under the little removable plate, so mom wasn't able to turn it off or fiddle with the settings. Definitely great for peace of mind when I am in the other room doing dishes or checking on something in the oven. We don't use the alarm setting but man is it loud. I set it up the first night just to test. My husband practically fell over himself when he opened the sliding door to let the dog out. Really happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I received this I was surprised by the size, that being said I always worry about my back window that looks out to my yard, the woods are directly behind me and that window has always made me nervous so when this came I knew exactly where I was putting this. This little thing is Super loud, was really easily installed cause I did it myself lol and it works. I can hear it from my bedroom, and it drives the dog Nuts so I know the minute she hears it she goes running to the kitchen. So overall I think it's great and gives me some peace of mind knowing there's something there to alert me in case God forbid someone tries to get in.

Didn't expect this to work as well as it did

This is very convenient for my grandma when I am not home.. the alarm is loud enough for you to hear all the way all the other side of the apartment complex they were not kidding lol.. this alarm is definitely meant for windows that maybe aren't opened as frequently or doors that are not open is frequently due to it being really loud this is most definitely for security I would highly recommend to thank you influencer and Sabre security for the opportunity to try this product

LOUD!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised at the loudness of this door alarm. The kit I received did come with all the necessary double sided tape to install the door alarm. But I used double sided Velcro tape and it has worked like a charm.  
The alarm will continue to pierce even if the door is closed after being opened, only way to turn off is entering your four digit code.

Great for safety

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It won't call the cops for you or send a fire truck to your house, but what it will do is alert you should any doors be open without your knowledge or permission.It is super easy to install and It has two settings, an alarm that rings loudly  until you turn it off or shut the door and  it also has a door chime that beeps. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you have small humans? Do your small humans like opening doors out windows?? If so this is the product for you. My daughter when she was younger she would escape out the door every chance she got so I wish I had a chance to buy these alarms then.This is ridiculously loud and will scare you children the first time they hear to do much they'll never tough that window again. This is cheaper than a security system and so easy to install you can do it sleep deprived. Cant wait to install these at my daughter's house also.

This alarm is fantastic!  So easy to install and very low tech for a safety device.  The alarm is VERY loud and would catch anyone's attention.  We have a pool in the backyard and this will be so helpful if little ones try to sneak out the door so we can catch them before anyone gets hurt.  The instructions were simple and it took no tools to install, just sticky-backed tape which was included.  I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a fast and easy way to alert you when a door or window is opened.

LOUD!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this security alarm is very easy to install and the sound of it is pretty loud which is great!  My only issue is that after a few days the chime doesn't chime all the way like it did when it was first installed it just sounds like a loud beep now which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of the five, Besides that it's a good product.
