Value For Money

Build Quality

Simple operation yields consistent results.

Can be solid, but also flimsy in some areas.

Worked lovely

Compact rice cooker perfect for a small family

Rice cooker

Rice Maker

Worth the price

works wonderfully but I DO wish there was an easy way to get steamed veggies out without scorching my fingers

Decent product with somewhat questionable quality. Sufficient size for students, bachelor's and people who are fine with the lower volume of the product. Although the product suggests it can take upto 6 cups( cup included in the package), keep the prep under 2 cups if you don't want a mess.

Value product at discounted price of 15 CAD

Very simple to use. Makes good rice. Steamer container has holes that let Peas fall through into the water. No timer for steaming

Loose Peas

The cooking is fast, but the rice turns out very mushy, and the bottom is always covered with a burnt, sticky layer. The “keep warm” function makes it even worse — the bottom becomes hard and scorched. It's really unacceptable and very disappointing.

Fast Cooking, But Terrible Results

I ordered this online. Its defective.I use online to save my time going in physical store. Now how will i return this product without going in your store???

The glass lid shattered itself without being dropped after ~0.5 year of usage. Its build quality is not strong enough to withstand the constant heating up and cooling down.

Fine, I contacted customer service at service@salton.com. They said glass items are not under warranty (yeah so the warranty is just marketing) and wanted 28.25 (15 lid 10 shipping 13% tax) for the lid. What a joke. I paid 20 for the whole cooker.

Save yourself from headache
