Excellent dehydrator for herbs! I wish I had purchased this a few years ago. It dries very evenly. Home grown and dried herbs are so much better than store bought.

Home grown is better!

I brought this about 2 weeks ago and tried to dry shrimp with salt and chicken legs with soy sauce. Finished heating the shrimps in 6 hours and chicken legs in 12 hoursl. Both taste wonderful and no difference from the traditional way of of hanging food and wait to dry by sunshine or wind for several weeks. This dehydrator can save me a lot of time and energy and most important I can now make dry food any time I want without worrying about the weather condition.

Easy to use, huge capacity

My second purchase of this machine. First one was used weekly or more and lasted for 5 years.  Does exactly as advertised.

I did an overnight comparison between my old Sulton which i thought was a beast and this new machine, in the morning I checked and the old Sulton still had patches of untouched carrots while this new Vita Pro machine every wrack was dried and dehydrated evenly! Now Im wondering if i should just buy another one of these as this is a great price!

Salton food dehydrator

I bought the VitaPro Food Dehydrator only 1 month ago and I have used it about 6 times. Already 2 trays have cracked on the side and when they cool you can hear the plastic of the cracked trays as if the material is trying to cool with great difficulty. However, with regard to the time and temperature, I am satisfied. It is unfortunate that the quality of the trays is not superior. But for the price it is still worth it.

A little disappointed

Was light weight but not substantially made.  Trays were finicky to put on correctly.  They did not naturally nest.  The plastic was very flimsy and would probably not last long.  The fruit leather tray already warped on the first washing, before I even had a chance to use it!
