Can heat quickly, but may retain heat inconsistently.

Simple operation with minimal effort required.

Loved the stove!  Use it weekly for a school lunch program. The only thing I didn't like is the mode/settings which has both power (1-8) or temp settings. It would seem that power level is always used for a stove top element. Otherwise I would recommend. I have bought two, one for school lunch program and one for my kids university dorm room.

Great stove top element.

First ever cooktop.  And it is absolutely fantastic!  Have only had it for 3 weeks and we don't know why we didn't get it sooner.   Unbelievable how quickly it boils water, soup, sauces, melts butter, fries eggs, sautes ground beef & veggies.   Just so fast.  We use it throughout the day.  Keep Warm feature is so handy.   Clean up is a breeze and it's very easy to use.   And it even includes a manual.   And an extra thoughtful tool is that it includes a magnet in the box so you can easily test your pots & pans to see if they're induction friendly.   My only question is why do we need to unplug the unit to turn off the lights/digital display?  When pressing the Power Button to turn off, the light remains on.  But this doesn't matter at all.   Fantastic product & couldn't be happier.

Only used it a couple of times, but So Far still works good, knock on Wood; it's pretty great..  didn't time it or anything, but it's seems to heat water faster than the electric old heat element, I gotta believe  it's an electricity saver because  of that reason.
 A weird Plastic smell, but I imagine that goes away after breaking it in real good. But does the magnetic waves in the induction plates do something to us while we are next to them ? .. lol

Faster than a gas more powerful then a electric element smarter than a Border Collie.

At first I was worried as the magnet did not stick to any of my pans and pots, claimed induction compatible when purchased. But I tried and it works well. 

There's smell of plastics during first use. It could bother some people but I am fine with it.

Works well

I have to admit, this exceeded my expectations for the price. I bought it to cook outside - anything spattery or even just in the summer. Although the plastic around the glass top has cracked in 4 different places, I don't fault the cooktop for this at all - I have left it outside for probably 2-3 summers (and resultingly, the rest of the seasons), completely exposed to unshaded sun and elements 24/7, and I unceremoniously have made dozens of smash burgers on it, pushing into the cooktop with a stainless burger press. The power levels are not granular in the slightest, but it works. I've fully deep fried with it, although it doesn't have the power to overcome the quench if you put too much in at once, boiled potatoes, made pasta, hash, etc. Although I am at the point I am replacing it for a Vollrath now, I really did not expect this to hold up.

Unexpectedly great

It's been 3 weeks since I am using it. Initially I was planning to return it because I have only few induction base pots. But I desided to give it a try. I am satisfied with the fast cooking and the precise setting of temperature and power level. Also happy to say that, I have a stainless steel Idly pot (steamer), which I thought Will not work on induction because it is not a magnetic material, but surprisingly it worked.

A better cooking experience

Product is great.  The Walmart purchase experience was horrible.  Ordered online.  Received no emails after initial purchase.  had to call walmart to find out if item at store.  went to store on pickup date: item could not be found.  had to return to store 2 days later.  Took over an hour for item to be located at store.  no one knew anything.  never buy online from Walmart again.

Great product.  Don't buy it here.

Smells like you're burning plastic every time it's being used. Returned.
