After a little trial and error with the apps, the speaker is working great with all my devices. The sound is awesome. I have the app on my Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Tab A tablet, and my windows 10 laptop. I have only used it with wi-fi, so I can't comment on the bluetooth connectivity, or the tv. Highly recommended at a great price.

Love this speaker

It's been a couple of weeks since I bought a couple of these R1 speakers and I am very happy with their performance far. I am able to use them as part of a stereo setup using the Samsung MultiRoom app (wi-fi) or as 2 separate speakers via Bluetooth. The sound quality is very good at both low and high frequencies.

after i read all the complaining from people i thought it cannot be that bad, after all it is made by samsung. if you have a good router it should be fine. i have a 2 story house and i have a speaker on both floors. my house rocks. people also said the base was sad. i beg to differ, it pounds in my house. if it is elevated it will pound. love them

A++++++ best speaker ever

This speaker is lovely for my very large rooms with 16' ceilings. The sound is clear and distributes nicely. BUT, while it works perfectly with my Ipod, it has proven impossible to get it to work with my desktop computer even though the PC is bluetooth. If you want something for the Ipod or Iphone, this is it for the price.

Research for use BEFORE you buy!

I bought this product for my husband for christmas n we love it...it is very easy to transport from room to room, easy Bluetooth connection, sounds plays really loud ..PERFECT SPEAKER

This speaker was absolutely amazing! I wish it hooked up to smart tvs other than Samsung, but the sound quality just can't be beat. Bluetooth function is quick and easy, and the app is pretty cool too! I definitely recommend this speaker to anyone!

Great Buy!

Been thinking about a good Blue Tooth speaker for my kitchen to play Pandora. Considered Sonos but thought $300+ was rediculous. Saw this Samsung speaker with 360 sound and bought it on special price of $119. Nice! Bought another one for my dining room. Real nice! Then followed up with my living room! Great sound throughout my lower level for about the price of one Sonos!
Bottom line, great sound, easy set-up and attractive looking speaker with 360 degree feature!

Multiplicity

Exactly what I was looking for. It easily fills my 1,700 sq ft home with music, easy sweet up, and amazing sound quality!!!

Great item

Although I bought this  month ago, it is a Christmas gift for someone and it has not been given or used. I am hoping to use this outside around the pool or in the garage during fitness workouts. I'm thinking my son-in-law will really use it as he loves to play music from his phone.

Hope to Love It

I bought a Samsung 650 sound bar and two Samsung radiant R1 speakers for a surround sound set up. I worked well for about a month. After that, the connection constantly drops out. The radiant R1 speakers will randomly not be recognized by the multiroom app so I have to reset my speakers about once a month, sometimes more often. The surround sound speakers barely make a sound when they used to provide a good surround sound effect. You can't control the rear speakers independent of the front soundbar. Now, my speakers won't connect together to form a surround sound group even though the app recognizes all my speakers. Overall, I spent a lot on the setup and it doesn't even work. My rear speakers just are sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I am currently looking at different wireless speaker system and would easily spend double what I spent on Samsung for a functional system that actually performs like a surround sound system.
