Great picture. First one was great for 10 days and just like that in the middle of a movie, the picture lost it's luster. Then red dots all over the screen. Plugged in into the HD box where the king resides (50" 1080P Pioneer plasma) & still bad artifacts & red dots refreshing all over. Samsung online help gave it a valiant effort with no fix.
Decided to take it back and Wal Mart was first class and first rate in an exchange for another. Didn't even have to take it back to the original store where it was purchased. They were out of them. So another store cheerfully took it back for an exchange. The replacement has been awesome. This 720P Plasma smokes the 1080P LED'S. And the sound is quite good and surprisingly deep. I would recommend this TV to a friend in a heart beat. Quick note: The clerk made the comment that he was surprised they had one. He said they can't keep this model in stock because it sells so well.

For the price this is an exceptional value. Once it arrived, I immediately set it up. The picture and sound quality are far better then I expected for the money I spent. The picture is nice, crisp, and clear. I did not have to do anything other then hook up my cable and run the setup. I have only been using this item for about 2 weeks and I don't feel that I will encounter any problems. But since I purchased this on-line and did not see it up close and personal, I did purchase the 3 year extended warranty. It was only a few buck more, but it gives me a great deal of comfort. I hope that this tv doesn't have problems but I can relax because I know I'm covered, no matter what happens. I would recommend this item to others based upon what I have seen so far with it. I am very satisified.

Outstanding TV

I did a ton of research trying to decide which tv would best suit my needs. I finally landed on this Samsung and it is a perfect budget tv. It is pretty barebones, but with my xbox one I didn't need any of the smart tv features. The sound quality is great and can be incredibly loud, I typically keep the tv volume between 5-10 out of 100, so you can imagine what 100 must sound like. I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of sports, so I went with plasma for the refresh rates and this tv is perfect. There is no blurring whatsoever. There are a lot of picture options to tweak the picture and color to your specifications. The only problem I have with this TV is that the mirror is extremely reflective so if you are watching something dark with the lights on, you will see a massive reflection of the room. This is entirely gone when the TV is not displaying black pictures, but could definitely be annoying to some people. I would not get this tv if you are in a very well lit room for this reason. However, for $380 you cannot beat this tv!!!

Fantastic for price, don't buy if in well lit room

This is by far the best TV that I have ever owned to this point. That is not as large an endorsement as it sounds to be, because I haven't purchased a great many TV's in my lifetime. I have always researched to some extent before purchasing any item, so what I have bought usably lasts me for a long time. I have owned the TV that I was using prior to purchasing this Samsung for over 12 years. I have every expectations that this Samsung will also last me a very long time. To this point all of my expectations regarding ease of use, picture quality and sound quality have all been exceeded. I purchased through Wal-Mart on-line and had it delivered direct to my home. Great TV, great price.

The Samsung PN43F4500 43" 720p 600Hz Class Plasma HDTV has an excellent refresh speed which makes movement crisp and clean. The pixelization for the 43" screen also makes crisp still images. We chose this one for its true colors, especially skin tones. The reds are not over-saturated and don't bleed. The television has a brighter setting, which we can use during daytime, or when the setting sun is coming in the window, but for evening viewing the regular setting gives great color and clean images. AND our eyes are not tired, even after hours of watching. We already had one of these, which we purchased a year or more ago, to replace a 7-8 year old plasma. We liked it so much, and the price was so great, for Christmas we went back for a second one for our bedroom.

Fantastic image quality for the price.

We own the Samsung 51 inch tv and are totally satisfied with it so we bought the 43 inch for a bedroom. It is just as great as the larger model. Beautiful picture and a price that can't be beat. Highly recommend it.

This is not the first of these I have owned and for good reason. The picture quality is superb, sound quality is more than tolerable and has all the inputs and outputs I need. Another HDMI input or two would make it the perfect small living room TV.

big fan of this TV

I got this TV for my son for Christmas to replace his 5 year old 32" LCD TV, WOW what a picture and the sound - we never knew what we were missing until we got this TV. Don't let the 2 HDMI ports deter you Monoprice has a 1 to 3 HDMI port multiplier that Auto switches for less than $15 so I bought 2 of these now it's an HDMI port a polusa with 6 HDMI inputs, enough for ALL his stuff, BlueRay, AppleTV, XBox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, MacMini and it works as a TV - WOW. I also picked up the Walmart 4 year extended warranty for care free on-site service if needed. It's a happy Christmas here because of this!

Affordable Plasma - Great Plasma

I needed a new TV for my bedroom. It was easy to take out of the box, and the only installation required was to screw 8 screws to the base/stand and plug the cord in the back and into the wall. Also included in the package were 2 Ferrite Cores which you can attach to a cable to shield the cables from interference. It just clips around the cable and you place it near the plug; this is optional. The instructions state to lay the TV screen down onto a soft surface while you are putting the screws in, and do not touch the screen, as this could cause damage. I laid it screen-down onto my bed with the styrofoam still attached to the top & bottom part of the TV. It was much easier to put the base on and not having to worry about causing any damage to the screen. I placed it on the TV stand, and now the only thing left to do was to program/set up the cable channels; of course, depending on what you have, direct TV, etc. It was easy to find and change the settings by way of the "menu" button. So far, I have been very happy with this TV and the price was great too!

Great TV for my bedroom

There's a lot of places you can look for info on tv's. The web is so helpful. the best thing to do is to find an independent review on what kind of technology is going to suit you best. Did that. I decided on plasma. The size is relevant to my room. I researched the stores, made a decision, Walmart won. They are very price friendly. The product was ready for me almost immediately. No problems with anything.

I researched thoroughly what I could get less $500

I ordered the television more than a week earlier, my delivery was expected to be delivered on Tuesday, the 17th of December. nobody called to let me know that the tv wouldn't be delivered until I called and was informed after sitting home all day that the Samsung 43 inch wouldn't arrive until Thursday Dec. 19th, after all that the television didn't arrive until Friday. Now the most upsetting thing was after all of that, the T.V. didn't work. I called and talk to Samsung directly and he determined the electronic device was defective. I loaded up this heavy T.V. that I had delivered jut so I didn't have to go through the hassle of setting it up by myself. I am a senior citizen and that was the last thing I wanted to do. I drove it back just to find out that there wasn't anymore in stock; so I settled for an L.G.
