I have being useing this phone for 2+ years already. Just it was on another account in the past and we used it as a business phone. I had A5 2016 as my personal.  But  when we switched for A8 , I decided to keep A5-2017 As my personal.  One of the reasons- battery life and fast  charging.

I was given this phone as a gift, and was certain I would not like it as it had too many features for me. Was I wrong! I LOVE IT! First, THANK YOU for reversible connector! No more squinting to see which way is the right way to plug my phone in. I'm finding so many features useful, or even just fun to play around with. The screen is the perfect size. The phone fits nicely in my pockets. The speakers are outstanding! The camera is better than I had ever hoped for!

The only negative thing i have to say is the sensitivity of the touch screen is a wee bit too sensitive. I find when i try to touch an icon, it gets swiped instead. Sometimes I don't even have to touch; just hold my finger over the screen and that activates. Make it less sensitive" is my only suggestion.

I'm in love!

I got this in December of 2017 and genuinely best decision I have made phone wise. I am looking to upgrade it because It's a bit small for me now and I would like a better camera. Other than that, it works like a dream! Love Samsung and always looking out for now releases. Please bring out more and more phones

Amazing budget phone

I changed my phone about 2 months ago and so far I am very happy except that I dropped it and the glass craked… Getting it repaired is to expensive so will do with it for a few years.  - I have 4 Samsung products and I find that the storage space in the Samsung Cloud should be adapted accordingly, 4 times the free space given with 1 product.  I keep getting the message that my Cloud space is full...

Very good for the price

I bought this phone six months ago and love it more each day.  It charges fairly fast, the features are easy to use and customizing the phone to my preferences was easy.  If I have a question about how something works, there is a large support community on-line to tap into to find answers.

Great Phone - Easy to Use

I got this phone in early  2018. It works so well. My phone loads fast and has never froze. One thing is that the camera isn't the best in low lighting but it looks amazing taking daylight/ringlight photos. Very modern and clean looking. Overall, I love it. I don't plan on switching for a while. I also love the home button and how fast the fingerprint scan is.

I was finally dragged into the 21st century when I purchased an A5, with accumulated AirMiles.   The camera optics are far superior to those on my 8 year old camera. I had trouble answering phone calls and always had to re-dial, BUT my grand kids set up a very simple answering method --- it appears to be trouble-free!!  

I'm very impressed with this product!!

First SmartPhone

I love the phone but am having trouble with the size of the fonts  I wish they were a bit darker and bigger   do not use the colour green difficult to read the colour green

Samsung claims this to be a water resistant phone, however if you happen to live in a humid area this phone will not charge within a matter of hours after purchasing. Sounds quite resistant. Samsung is incapable of fixing this issue for longer than a few minutes. Don't let Samsung steal your money too. Corporate thieves
