I am so thrilled with this blu-ray player. I have been wanting one for over a year now, and I recently started researching different players.  I picked this one because it had many good reviews, including good reviews of the remote control.  The picture is beautiful.  It has very easy setup, except it didn't setup the portion to control my TV because it is an older RCA.  It has streaming options and it's easy to navigate through the menus.  The blu-ray has touch buttons on top of the box in the lower right corner, which are very sensitive.  I didn't even see the buttons for about two days, lol, that's how nicely they are hidden.  The remote is great.  The buttons are firm, and easy to use.  One of the best remotes I have ever had, and the reviews for the remote is why I chose this model over another player I had been looking at.  I have been telling my friends about this blu-ray, and I already would buy another one if I needed it.

This DVD player is loaded with options, if you purchase it then with the pre-loaded applications you have access to Amazon Prime series and movies without having to have a roku or a smart hub tv.  This is an excellent choice for a DVD with upscalling to near 4000K and being able to play a blue ray dvd, it is also backward compatible so it will play regular  a dvd as well

Samsung Blue Ray DVD player

This was a replacement for a 3-year old Samsung Blue Ray player that recently stopped working. There are a few improvements over the old unit but essentially the same features. Installation was super simple - connect the HDMI & power cords - then turn it on. The set-up menu was self explanatory and took less than 5 minutes. The picture was superb on my recently installed UHD TV. I am very happy with this DVD player.
The only negative comment I have is directed at Walmart. The primary reason I purchased this unit was the "promise" of free, 2-day shipping - which did NOT happen. It finally arrived 5-days later - 3-days too late for my intended use of this new unit at my Super Bowl pre-game party. Very disappointed in the "late" delivery!!!

Very Nice Replacement

Easy plug and play. Wireless works excellent with apps like Amazon Prime. Picture is very good viewing from straight on. I did notice picture somewhat different while standing and close to TV. Not out of focus but shadowy. My TV is an older Samsung with HDMI. Interestingly the apps play over entire screen while Blu-ray disc picture has black bars above and below. It didn't try it on my newer Samsung TV but I imagine the picture from disc would play on entire screen. I'm happy with it either way. Can't beat HDMI and Blu-ray picture and sound. Remote even adjusts TV sound etc without any additional programming. I would recommend to anyone that likes easy quality. Enjoy!

BD-J6300 Blu-Ray Player Good

We have used this player a limited number of times.  It has performed well on both blue-ray and DVD's and produced a really good picture.  Setting up and connecting to Wi-Fi was easy following the instructions.  Before purchasing this unit, I had read many reviews, and many of them reported problems.  That is one reason I put off buying one for the last year.

It was a gift, and has only been used a few days, but it was easy to set up and works well, but the instructions are very sparse.  I opted for this model because the newer one has no indicator lights to tell you its on.

Samsung 2015 modeel

All functions, controls, inputs, outputs ... and even a web browser.
Sounds complicated, but it's not because of the on-screen menu's
and instructions.  Even the remote is great.  My one wish - that Samsung
would list the wireless keyboards and mice that are compatible with this
DVD player.

Everything you would want

This is a solid DVD player with all the features most people would need, and with the shortcomings others have noted -- the odd placement and arrangement of the buttons so they are difficult to see and use, not suitable for stacking, lack of connectors, etc.  I haven't found the remote difficult to use however.  The main "hub" screen is a bit confusing but the basic functions are reasonably easy to spot.  It has worked just fine in the couple of weeks I've had it, and the price was easily the best I found.  Beware of restrictive third party vendor return policy however (Wholesale Connection).

Solid Choice

This is paired with a Samsung TV,  so the player's remote functions work on it, a real convenience for me.

The streaming functions are good, if you have no other source -- I still prefer the Roku, for easier navigation.

The player loads fairly quickly, and audio and video performance are good.

DVD-R's play just fine for me, though some other reviewers seem to have problems with them.

The web browser is  usable, though a little awkward to navigate. 

Everything performs as advertised.  This is on a secondary TV, so I don't expect it to match the performance of the high end components on our principal entertainment center.  Even so, it performs adequately without major annoyances.  No regrets here.

Meets expectations

I bought this because I had originally purchased one of the first Samsung Blu Ray players made and it was so old it would not play the new discs and so old they no longer wrote updates for it. I really liked that player so when I went to get a new one I again choose Samsung. this one is sleeker and lighter, easy to install and works well with my Samsung TV and their Any Net features.
Everything is controlled by the remote, no buttons on the unit itself which is great and not so great. if you misplace the remote you wind up with a useless player. If it weren't for that feature, I would give it ten stars.......
