Had the phone for a few days now and all I can say is wow.. Lighting fast, awesome camera and good battery life. The only thing I have a bit of problem with is Bixy.. maybe in a few months I will get use to it, but for now I personally don't care much for it.

I really liked the fact that they include in the box an adaptor for standard Galaxy phone charger, that way I don't have to buy a second cable right away.

Earphone have amazing sounds, very comfortable.

on the down side the price is a bit too much, but I guess it is the price to pay for new up to speed cellular technology.

Overall, very happy with my new phone.

I used to be a devoted Iphone user for many years, but now that I have switched to the Samsung S8 edge I will never go back to Apple ever again !! this phone is leaps and bounds better then any Iphone I have ever had !!! so much more versatile and user friendly.  Samsung has converted me for life !!!!

Ill never leave Samsung again !!

Upgraded up from a s5 to this s8 and after a week of use, I can say that the s8 is a lot faster and has more features than the s5. The only con I have is that they removed the tv remote control capabilities.

Nice design and loaded with great apps

This is great product and features . it have strong outer body , screen is great but till now i face only one problem , when i unlocking phone with finger print it is little slow.

It has a great handling comfort. You can purely feel the samsung beauty in your hand as it has very smooth and stunning design. It has very friendly operating system and shortcuts that can make your day to day work even more smoother. Finally they have created a beauty i have to say it in all.

Handling

If your Galaxy 8 accidentally falls in the laundry basket and goes into the washing machine and you do not realize it until 10 min. later...... IT STILL WORKS!!!!  Thank you Samsung for a terrific product that actually is water proof as advertised!

Negatives: The alarm volume never changes, regardless if u turn the volume down or not. The calandar widget SUCKS!! The events show up in alaphabetical order instead of the going by time. So I cant see my morning appointment because my afternoon appointments show first.  This doesnt help me at ALL. AND, the all day appointments should show at the top in a fixed position, but that doesnt happen either.  I also cant make individual notifcation ringtones for individual contacts, which is dumb! I like kowing who has texted me by the ringtone i hear. 
Positives: i love the light display on the edge screen when i get a text, howevwr it would be awesome to have multiple colours, not just blue. I also like the look of the actual phone.

Good and Bad

I haven't even owned the phone a month and already have a crack which runs from the top center of the screen to the bottom. I do have full protection on the phone (case and screen protector) and did not drop it. I really have no idea what actually caused the screen to crack, I can only assume that it happened from being in my front pocket. My last 3 phones were iPhones and I never have had such an issue. I can't imagine how fragile this screen is if dropped. Highly disappointed.

Screen Cracks WAY too easy

My finger print sensor is working 1 on every 5 times.
This week my phone froze and stop responding at 10pm at night and i noticed it at 7am the next morning.... i was on call for work this night!
Notification have sometime 20 minutes delay .... did all the trouble shooting online still not working well.
batterie will not last an entier day.

and it's only being one month.
First and last Samsung device

Alot of issue after one month

Great phone and in Orchid Grey looks great until you drop it!  My phone dropped from chair height on to a soft floor on the first day (before the cover arrived) and now I have a nice big crack on the back cover.  I dropped my old phone many times and never had a an issue like this.  Why would you make the back cover in glass???

Great phone, but glass backing makes no sense!
