I bought this tablet a birthday gift for myself and I am glad that I did. I looked at several in the store that day before a sales rep. told me about this one. It reminds me so much of my Note II, only bigger. The only negative thing that I have found is the location of the charging port. I can't close my case all the way while it is charging because it bends my cord, but other than that I love my tablet!!

I really like the look and feel. It acts like a bigger version of my new Galaxy S4. The display is sharp and responds quickly to my touch. I just wish there was better docmentation on tips and tricks. Also documentation on what accessories work with the new Tab 3 10.1. Will other Tab 10.1 accessories work with Tab 3 10.1?

Purchased my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 on Day 1

been excellent to own an tablets, but used ipad before. i must say much better than ipad on resolution and other features and mostly l like the expendable storage given. which does not limit me from putting more n more stuff.

EXCELLENT TABLET, BETTER THAN HIGH PRICED IPAD'S

I bought the tablet to replace a dying laptop, and apparently was able to replace my e reader also. I love it.

Awesome Device

I use the Tab 3 for home/personal use and since I bought it 2 weeks ago I have been impressed with the speed performance. For the things that I have been using the Tab for, mainly web browsing and games, there has been no issues with he speed or the reaction of the touchscreen.

The one thing that it does lack is a flash for the camera. This hasn't been much of an issue since I have a digital camera and my Galaxy S3 if I need to take pictures with a flash.

Tab 3 10.1 performance

My tablet has been a headache almost from the beginning. I have had it only two years and now it won't hold a charge at all. I have never been able to use it in WiFi mode because it only holds a charge for a couple hours. I mostly use mine as a reader. My husband has another brand with better sound, sharper picture and it holds a charge much longer.

I got a lemon

I bought this in mid-May for my Dad for Father's Day, but now realize that a laptop will suit him better. I find it frustrating to use also.

Not Suitabl

Honestly, it's awful. I have had nothing but trouble with this Tab. It is VERY slow and I have the same, if not less, applications on this Tab than I do on my cell phone and my cell phone is faster. There is only 1GB of Ram BTW. Sure they advertise that it has 16GB of memory (which it actually doesn't when you look at the actual specs on the tab) but 1 GB of Ram is nothing...and I mean nothing. Probably why it's so slow.

Also, for some odd reason, the screen dims whenever it feels like it and when it goes to sleep, it won't turn back on when I push the power button, except when it feels like it.

I'm very disappointed and should have returned it the moment I noticed the way it was slow and not user friendly. It is definitely not worth the money I paid.

VERY disappointed

I purchased this tablet on Feb. 24, 2014 and less than 3 months later, the battery stopped holding a charge and was losing power even plugged into the wall charger. I have to say up until this happened, I loved my Tab 3 but now totally regret buying it. I do not recommend this tablet.

poor performance

I use this for school. The batter lasts longer as long as all aps are closed except for what I am doing. In order for it to charge the fastest I have to turn off all aps, clean it and turn the tablet off. Having the charger position at the bottom of the tablet inconvenience while I am trying to charge and use my online textbooks. I try to turn it upside down using my cover but the power button shuts it off. Other than the charging time, which takes overnight and the positioin of the charger its great.
In order to get full stars move the charger to either the top or a side. I would also suggest adding a thumbdrive port.

Slow to charge. Ridiculous spot for the charger.
