Subwoofer has plenty of power, just have to find the best place in the room for it. Sound is good. Mid ranges are a little boosted and high are a little weak but it still sounds excellent. Lot of reviewers gave up on the subwoofer and I almost did too but I moved it through out the room and found a sweet spot. Now I have to turn the subwoofer down.

Good, Inexpensive Sound bar with HDMI inputs.

I love my new Soundbar. It is awesome and has great sound. Easy set up easy to use. A must have for a theatre room.

Great Sound!

I got this thing and everything was working fine until my remote just stopped working after one day. I don't think its the battery either because i got new ones and it still doesn't work. So I have to try to get a remote or else i cant really do anything with the soundbar. And it uses lithium batteries which is also kind of annoying. I hope I can return the remote and have walmart send me another remote. Without the remote working you can change anything but the volume and function ( HDMI, D. IN, A/V, and bluetooth ). Cant change the subwoofer volume, treble, bass or any of the special sound effects like music or stadium sound without the remote working. So basically my only problem is the remote not working.

Had it about a month. TV and movies sound good, however the volume does not give the full watts until you connect and play music via Bluetooth. Music sounds awesome, just as good or better than most house stereos! Disappointed that it shuts off with the TV, but has to be turned on manually each time.

Great Bluetooth sound

Really impressed by the clarity of the soundbar & it was very easy to set up (other than wondering if the sub woofer set up at all)
Listening to music on the TV and watching movies is a totally different experience - I am only a little disappointed with the bass on this - I was expecting a little more.

Very good ...but

As per other reviews, the sound on this bar is pretty great, save for the bass. If you're looking for booming subwoofer and bass, you will not get it here... Unless you max out the Bass (+3) and SW (+6, I think, my memory is shoddy) volumes, and then jack the bar volume to 35. My downstairs neighbor sent me a txt, en lieu of hitting a broomstick to the ceiling, confirming that the bass, at that point, was very unpleasant for him (but lovely for me).

Great Treble and Mids; Mediocre Bass.

I don't have any complaints. For only 290 watts, it is loud enough to hear the booms!! I am using the optical in from the XBONE and it is the only input I have tried, but the digital sound is thrilling for an inexpensive sound bar. I was playing Titanfall and was impressed with the sound of the explosions. I like the wireless subwoofer, as just one less wire to worry about. Have only used it with optical in to play games and watch movies through the XBONE, but so far so good.

When will the bass drop. . .

The Samsung TV (new firmware up to date) recognizes the new HW-H450/ZA when installed under sources as a HDMI connection. But, I connect it with a HDMI cable it shows the HDMI cable on the TV but no sound comes out.( External speakers are on.) I connect the aux cable I get limited quality sound. I then purchased a optical connection and I get sound. I no longer get the ability to sync the connection and use only one remote with the optical connection installed. I have to manually use both remotes to turn on and off both units separately. This does not make sense. I am also unable to update firmware since it does not exist yet. The Samsung TV is 4 years old. It should connect. I noticed that it might have issues with Samsung TV's older than 2012. This set is older but why would Samsung not allow for backwards compatibility

Samsung sound bar HW-H450/ZA is not connecting/syncing with Samsung TV

I have this system connected to my Samsung TV via HDMI. The sub-woofer makes virtually no sound at all, and is worthless. I have the volume for the sub-woofer turned all the way up to +6, and still has no bass at all. The wireless symbol is lit, thus it is connected. The remote is cheap as well, and will not control my TV on/off, nor will the sound bar remote turn my TV on/off. Thus taking me from 1 remote to 3 remotes. The remote has no lighting at all, and there is no timer feature to automatically shut-off.
Very unhappy with the overall features, and not really worth the price. Will give it another few days, but it looks like it is going back.

Sub-Woofer is horrible

I bought this and an older model H350 and connected to my Samsung Smart TV. H450/ZC literally had no bass. It was producing a little clearer sound but without the bass you really don't feel like you are getting any premium audio quality comparing to your TV's speaker.
I returned it.

No Bass at all.
