I bought this tv a month ago and have been SO enjoying it!  I can now read all the guides and instructions on my big, crisp screen!  The clarity almost makes me dizzy!

Movie Theatre Quaity

I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews. I've had this TV for a couple of months. Assembled the stand in five minutes, put the TV on it, plugged it in and it's worked flawlessly. I went from a Sanyo 42" plasma and the difference is even more than I expected, the picture is crisp, colors are great. Would definitely recommend it.

Make sure you turn off the "auto lighting" unDer the picture settings -more details. If you don't the back lighting will be very dim. Picture is great once you do this

My old television broke down and I had to find a new one. I looked around a bit and decided to go with this one. It was a bit smaller than my old tv but a very good price. Everything about it is great other than two personal problems. One being that I have a lot of older gaming systems and this tv only has one hook up for colour cords. The other being that my roommate has a sanyo tv in the same room as mine and the remote works for both tvs which can be very annoying haha

A Great Product

I ordered first time, the screen was broken so I went back and ordered another time and this time it works very well and the picture is very belle!

Using this on a daily basis is a frustrating experience due to the inability of the unit to remember all the preference settings for image quality.  Every time the set turns on the Light Sensor option is also turned back on, which changes the maximum brightness setting and overall makes the image dull and lifeless.  It is a TV that does not honour the user's settings between power cycles.  I will avoid this brand in future.

Great Price, but annoying behaviour

The fact that it took an hour just to put the stand together should have been an indication that this TV was just not going to work out. The screws are too big for the holes and was extremely difficult to screw in the holes. I ended up stripping the screw heads which made it more difficult. It took about an hour but I was able to get the stand put together and connected to the Tv. Then turned the TV on only to have trouble viewing it because it was so dim. I played with the picture controls and changed it to VIVID. It made the picture a little sharper but still pretty dim. I tried to brighten it and change up contrast and that made a difference but still didn't look right. I returned the TV the next day. I read the reviews for this AFTER making the purchase. I see many had the same issue. I really trust the Sanyo name but I believe this particular model may have an defect. Buyer beware. Shop around and read your reviews

Expecting more from a Sanyo product

Bought this television April 2014. When plugged in, it will not manually or remotely turn on. It will not turn on at all. Not pleased that its not an old television. Even tho I didn't get the warranty, I thought I would have had it for at least 5 years, not 2 1/2 years. Not satisfied at all!
