I ordered this for my mother in another state.  She was able to hook it up herself.  She has enjoyed her free time watching DVD's.

Sanyo DVD Player

Pretty good and great value for the price.  A little slow and the remote is tiny, the tinniest that I have ever run into to, close in size to a key chain car alarm.  I attached it to  my bigger, more conventional remotes.  Not a problem to locate when needed.

Outside of some slower responses from the remote, it is a good device.

Sanyo DVD

The dvd player didnt come with aux cords which I found to be weird. Luckily I had some old ones laying around so easy fix. The remote also came with batteries so thats always a plus!

So far so good.

I recently bought this DVD player and the player itself is performing flawlessly.  The problem however, is the remote NCO87 which is near impossible to use by human beings..It's tiny & in today's world..it's important to have a remote which you can operate in semi-darkness since that's where you'll be using it..This remote is ridiculously tiny to the point that anyone over 2 years old will find that their fingers are too large to operate the controls.

Remote is Awful (Impossible)

For the price you can't beat it. Using it in our vacation home to keep the grandchildren occupied while dinner is prepared etc. Not HD but they don't mind.

Ok for a cheapie

This product does not connect to the modern television. This product had the old red, yellow and white prong connectors and the TV I want to put in on does not have those.  You should put this on the product description so people know what they are buying. Will be returning it soon.

Old school product with old school connections

I purchased this DVD player in Walmart based on the price and the fact that I will have cable installed soon so I really won't be using it that much. It was easy to set up. Very compact and doesn't take up much space. I watched 1 DVD on it. After that the next day it WOULD NOT play ANY DVD! I've had it for a little over 24 hrs and only watched 1 DVD. Every DVD I put inside it says it is an unsupported disc. DO NOT BUY!!  WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Also the DVD takes too long to respond to commands from remote or buttons on the player. Ex. If you hit the eject button the DVD player will eject the DVD 1 minute later.  I am returning it to my local walmart and will pay the difference for a more expensive DVD player that actually works!

The Worst Experience with an Electronic!

I bought this DVD player to use in the bedroom. It never worked. I tried multiple discs, new and old, no success. I followed up with Sanyo customer support who emailed me a copy and paste version of the instruction manual. There was no telephone option. I have had this product 3 weeks and have yet to watch the first frame of a DVD. I will pack it up and return to Walmart, where I I hope they will credit my card. This has been a lesson in frustration, my advise...don't do it!

Don't bother...

Worked great for the first couple of movies, we were super happy with our purchase. A few days in a brand new dvd skipped in it several times until it finally just wouldn't read the disk. Tried another newish dvd and same thing. It's continued for about a week now and we plan on having our money refunded. Wouldn't waste the money on the same player again. Brand new and will not work properly. I should have kept the 10 yr old hand me down we had. Just bought this one because the old one didn't have a remote.

SKIPS!!!

Only plays one movie, and makes all the others skip or will not read them. I would never recommend this DVD player to anyone. We have had it a total of 2 hours and have only had problems with it. I will be returning it and buying something more expensive in hopes that that will be worth my money.
