Fat Content

Slices have a suitable thickness for various recipes.

I like this bacon. It is the perfect thickness, not so thick that it takes a long time to cook, but thick enough that it has a nice bite to it. It's also great in sandwiches for that reason. I don't find it too smokey either. Good for anyone that enjoys a thicker slice of bacon!

Good Thick Bacon

Caddle

Bought this on sale for use in a summer broccoli salad that I make at least once or twice during the hot summer months. My family really loved it! Schneiders is a household name for us, steeped tradition & an absolute favourite. The thicker cut made for great bacon bits in the salad. I would definitely suggest it for anyone who loves hickory smoke flavour

Bought This & loved it!

The Schneider's bacon was perfectly sliced, although it said it was thick sliced. It cooked up nicely and had very little fat and was totally delicious.

Perfectly sliced

Schneider's Thick Cut Bacon satisfies a bacon lovers appetite. The bacon doesn't curl and dry up and that Double Smokey flavour is so good! I don't just make breakfasts and sandwiches with it. Schneiders Double Smokey Bacon gives a great boost to salads and casseroles too!

Full Bacon Taste

375 g package comes in 10 slices of bacon typically. Crispier, sweeter, and smokier than regular version, and cooks at same rate. Decent deal at $4. Use the leftover fat make sweet and smokey eggs!

Sweet And Smokey

We love this bacon. It's great in a Club House sandwich, or on its own. We are loyal Schneider's fans. They are superior to other brands. Cooks up nice and crispy, not too salty

Our favourite bacon

I am a fan of the schenieders brand for meats and this includes their bacon. I enjoyed the thick cut of the bacon as i find it will not shrink as much as a regular cut. It is smoked and it does come through as a subtle smoke flavor, not over powering.

Good Quality Bacon

I bought this thick cut bacon by mistake. I ususally buy the regular (thin) bacon. The thick cut bacon was good. It took a bit longer to cook and it wasn't quite as crispy. The flavour and saltiness were good. If you like thick cut bacon, you will probably love this one.

Good Bacon

I generally cut my bacon strips in half. It was interesting how one half looked like bacon and the other half looked like fat. I threw away that half. Terrible product, waste of money throwing food away....
