Cool flavour

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was a very tasty sausage. It had a hint of poutine to it. If I didn't know it was a poutine flavoured sausage, I might've missed it. But it tasted great and I'd eat it against.

Delicious combination

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Schneiders Smokie - Poutine Smoked sausage was pretty tasty. It has good flavours; especially with the cheese that was incorporated that gave the sausage a good overall taste.  However, I didn't get much poutine or smoked flavours out of this sausage.  This to me was simply a sausage with hints of cheese similar to other cheesy sausages from Schneiders; which is not a knock against this sausage as it was tasty.  It was simply not as interesting of a sausage, flavour-wise, as I had thought given it was marketed as having poutine smoked flavour.  The casing on this sausage was also quite tough, which made it kind of hard to chew through.  Overall, this was a tasty sausage despite the couple of shortcomings mentioned.

Great flavour

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I enjoy a cheesy sausage so I thought I would like this but the poutine flavour with sausage was very odd. Ours tasted off and when I read the package I realized it expired over a week earlier - even though I had bought it the day before. Even though we like poutine and sausage this is not something I would recommend.

Unusual Flavour

My wife bought the Poutine Smokies for our camping trip this weekend and neither of us could make it past the first bite. I fed mine to my dog to dismay his tummy also didn't like it that night.
