We use this in our paint projects or other places we need quick removal of tape, it applies (applying) easily, we do not use it for stripes unless you call covering deteriorating walls in a 100 year old home, the stripes just happen again and again, but it keeps the crumbling plaster off the floor. We love the quick release when painting on canvas, we do a lot of experimenting with artwork and this helps us a lot, we can also use it to temporarily post a photo up to paint and not harm the walls. It is a great artist tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever i have used your painters tape it's always worked exactly as it should!For example it can be very stressful when it's time to remove the tape from your freshly painted walls but with your scotch painters tape i have never been disappointed!It always comes off just as it should without removing any paint.

The scotch painters tape with edge lock paint line protector is the only painters tape i ever use it works exactly as described!

Working in the southwest part of Louisiana. Humidity and my customers battling this with high volume of air conditioning. The tape holds its edge beautifully. I thought I might run into a problem with the extreme humidity change. Especially when I had to leave product on for over 24 hours. Thanks for offering a quality product.

Lasting quality

Not pink. It's a sad gray lavender color. I guess the good thing is at least when I write on it in sharpie I can see it, the blue tape I cant see what I write on it. I cant rate its delicate surface or painting capability. I use it to label things in the freezer and tape things closed.

I use this tape to cover a hardwood floor for my project and it was there for only 5 days when we finish our project we removed gently the tape and the tape came off with the clear of the hardwood floor and left the mark of the tape all around the house is not a good product
