Scotch® General Painting Multi-Surface Painter's Tape is designed for a variety of painting tasks. Whether you’re protecting your wood trim, painted walls, tile floor, or glass windows, this versatile tape can stay on interior surfaces for up to 8 days and then removes easily without leaving any sticky residue behind. For great paint results, make sure the surface is clean, dry, and dust-free so that the tape sticks properly. Next, apply the Scotch® General Painting Multi-Surface Painter's Tape onto the surface while pressing down firmly as you go. Let the tape set for about 30 to 60 minutes before painting for an optimal bond. Once finished painting, make sure the paint is completely dry before removing the tape. To properly lift it up, start by slowly pulling the tape back on itself before removing at a 45-degree angle.

In short, this tape solves all the mess I do when painting super easy to use it sticks very well but it doesn't damage the paint that already has the wall when removing it it is the same it doesn't remove the paint only the tape they would use it again its performance is super I finish faster since I'm not afraid when painting

This tape helped me not to paint too much

It's easy to use, tears off conveniently, and doesn't not rip during application. When removed, it leaves no residue and doesn't damage the surface, which  is very important for my work. Always clean cuts with this tape painting

The tape adhered well to the surface, created clean paint lines and prevented overspray in detailed areas. For me it's perfect

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As a kindergartener educator, I am always looking for new and creative ways to spark learning in our classroom. I used scotch 3 ounce tape on the ground to create mosaic tile art piece that the kids could colour in with chalk. One of our students said, it reminded them of colourful glass which inspired the next piece to put on the windows. The tape stuck perfectly it didn't lift it tore easily and most importantly the removal was quick and easy and didn't leave a residue and it was easy to peel. The end result was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product.

Not just for painting walls

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Easy to use and rip without scissors. No paint bleeding tape seems to be duable to keep lines fine and crisp. Used with stencils to paint and my bedroom walls. Never have any issues with the thickness or consistency.

Easy to use

Not the best. Painting outside shudders I decided it was easier to tape around the shudders as opposed to removing them. There was very little paint bleed under the tape but not enough that I couldn't remove it with some patience and a little scraping.

Satisfactory but not perfect

Bought two days ago. Used it to mask on skirting boards that were primed. After being on there for two days tried to take it off and it just kept tearing off in little pieces. Took about an hour to remove 15m.  Absolute rubbish. I will never use it again
