Product received was sent in timely fashion and well made. I price checked other web sites and found this one to be the cheepest and the shipping cost very reasonable. The only down side was I paid for this with a debit card and my bank put a hold on the card because they had prior fraudulent dealings with walmart.com. This was done for my benefit without notification.

Was set on paying $25.00 or more for each one of these (I got four) on other sites but when I saw them here for $18 and change each there was no question or hesitation on my part to buy them, cheapest price anywhere

They are great on my little boat for trolling and still fishing.
I wish I'd have gotten 4 of them to save the shipping cost.

I like these rod holders, they are secure enough and with the dual use mounts, side or top, they offer flexibility in mounting.  On some of these packages Scotty only offers a flush mount, which I don't like.  So when I saw these, compared to the ones in the local store, definitely had to pick up a few and they were eight dollars cheaper which is always nice.

Solid holder

I now have a few of Scotty rod holders. I like their design and strength. I like the fact that the holder has to be rotated 180 degrees before it can be removed. Some of the others pull up and out without rotating. Walmart had a better price than I could find anywhere.

Rod holders worked great.  Low price and fast delivery.

Excellent rod holder

This rod holder appears designed for bait casting reels to which it works well.  It's not much good for spinning reels without serious modifications, Which I have not done as yet.

Rod Holder

These are nice sturdy rod holders but they cannot be used with spinning reels. I was going to put it on my kayak but it's doesn't work with small rods or spinning reels. This is better for bigger reels. I would have been better off with a Scotty Baitcaster/Spinning Rod Holder or Cannon.

I ordered this based on price and style. When it arrived I quickly learned the mounting hardware is not included. I called the company and they said they simply don't send it out with the product. The customer service with this company was sub-par. I went to B A S S P R O to find this identical product, besides the brand, for the same price, but it included two holders and the mounting hardware.

I returned this product to the local store.

Not worth the money
