It gives off continuous heat depending on your temp. Setting.  It has a timer which works well .  The fake fire stays lit even when it isn't putting out heat unless you turn it off.
It keeps my chilly basement room nice and cozy warm..  I bought this to replace a different brand and model that had worn out after 6 years.  I love this one so much more.  Also it has a remote which I forget to use.  It shuts its off and in just like a furnace one the temp. Is reached that you set.  Love love love it!  I hope I haven't  jinxed myself!

I wanted more control over the temperature in my apartment than my radiator allowed, and this was a great solution. I love that the faux-fireplace look goes well with my other pre-war details. Overall, it's lightweight, effective, and super cute! You can definitely tell that it's plastic, but it still makes a great visual impression.

Amazing light weight

It Durants take long to heat up and you can set the temperature right through the remote. It has a flame that looks real. I get all kinds of compliments on it.

This is the cutest little heater

Just add 4 legs and you have the option to add a screw to each leg for better support. Remote requires 2 AAA batteries but there's a nice panel at the front bottom with all your buttons, as well. Create simple ambiance or add some heat! You can adjust the temperature 60 and up. Overall so darn cute! Looks like an authentic old fashion stove. Plenty of warning labels to for adults to keep their kiddos and pets safe! My husband and I love it!!

The flame effects look 3D and with the lights out fool me into believing it real.  I have a good imagination and it just feels so cozy. Not to mention the heat this puts out. It's a very well built design and is easy to put together. This heats up the living room nicely and helps cut back on the gas furnace. It's charming and I definitely recommend. It's perfect for a cozy ambiance while also providing a good heat supply. The remote is easy to use with settings that make adjusting this furniture functional.

It has infrared quartz elements that are safe and very effective when it comes to heating. The elements heat up quickly and produce heat in no time. The heater comes with a remote control bun can also be used without. The buttons are hidden with a little closure that opens to reveal the buttons. There is a light up mini screen that shows the temperature which can be regulated. The flames effect is very realistic and has three levels. 
The heater is safe and has tip over protection as well as child lock. 
When it comes to the size of the heater, it is on the smaller size and will fit in any space. The heater is very convenient to have.
