I've been using this for literally YEARRRSSS and it's never disappointed me. I have very oily skin and this helps with it a lot. It stays on my face almost all day, and retouching still looks great. It also layers on top of foundation, mine is also CoverGirl, very well! I use a thin layer on top of foundation and a bit of blush.
One thing to note though, is that, as a lot of powders do, this will probably look very visible if you have dry and flaky skin on your face. My nose is exactly this, and the only part of my face that isn't oily for whatever reason, and I have to lay it on VERY VERY lightly, if at all, because otherwise It emphasizes the dryness. Layering on a good amount of moisturizer helps with this.

This is my go-to powder. I like the matte/oil control it gives. I wish there were more color options. I prefer the Creamy Natural shade in other products but that is not available in this product. I go back and forth between the 525 Buff Beige which is a little too dark and the 510 Classic Ivory which is a little too light.  But the finish on my skin makes me continue to gravitate to this product.

Quality, Value, and a Name I Trust

A very basic pressed powder, but goes on nicely without leave creases. The variety of shade options makes it easy to find the perfect match. It's also nice that the compact comes with a mirror.

I love Covergirl Matt pressed Oil control Powder.  The color matches my skin perfect.  It is light feeling on my skin and gives my face a flawless finish.

its a great powder foundation it goes on smoothly it blends really well with skin color its easy on my skin and looks really nice love the compact and little face poof to apply makeup is soft.

The formula changed. It now has a shiny tint to it. Seems like too much highlight in it and it tends to make my foundation cake. I've used this for years and in the past months the product has changed

I think CoverGirl switched their formula. This powder seems like it has too much highlighter in it...

Powder has changed...

This has been my go to for years but now I hate it. I always loved the barely there look and the buff beige color was perfect but the formula changed and now it's white and cakey looking. It looks like there's a weird shine in the powder as well. I bought multiple ones thinking it was an old or bad batch but just ended up wasting more money. Please bring back the old formula! If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I have used clean matte pressed powder for years and now I am soooo disappointed with the formula change.  It took me about 2 weeks to finally realize it was the powder making my face shine more and my pores more noticeable.  So much for being a matte finish and looking flawless with my pores screaming can you see me, can you see me.  Why change something when it's not broken, now it's broken.  Unfortunately, I will have to go through the process of finding another matte powder that works.  Please bring back the older product!!!!!
