Unlike most can tops I've tried, this one actually fits. It was really tight at first, so I left it on an unopened can for a couple of days, and now it works great. Works for my dog's food, and they'll work on regular cans that contain human food too!

Definitely does the job!! Helps keep my pets' food from drying out and becoming inedible. What a great way to make the most of your pet food purchases. I just wish they had more than one size because pet food cans vary significantly in size. I'd definitely purchase the others if they're interested in adding different sizes to their selection.
Pet owners, I think you'll be just as pleasantly surprised as I was. Now a can will last 2-3 servings rather than having to offer all of it to them to try to keep it from being wasted. It's affordable and worth a try in my opinion. 😊❤️🐾

Since my cat only weighs 10 lbs, I only give her a half a can each meal, so these caps are necessary to keep the food fresh while sitting in the refridgerator!

These Are a Must For Canned Food Freshness!

Exactly for what I was hoping for. It keeps the food fresh and I do not think it is difficult to place it or remove it.  It fits a larger sized can of cat food.

I see a lot of reviews that the cap doesn't fit the can. I would suggest testing some of the cans in the store to ensure it fits as you expect.

It does fit tightly, so it takes a bit of pressure to get it on.

It isn't made for the small cans of cat food.

If you test it in the store, then you'll know if you can deal with pressing it on and taking it off.

My cat is a jerk and eats the silicone ones, so these are great.

One star removed because it is difficult (not very, but if you have weak hands) to put on.

It does the job, but if I have small cans I'd find something else.

Oh, Come On, Check It Before You buy It

Doesn't fit any of the blue Buffalo dog food cans I buy. OR the cat food cans, either. Not sure why the bill these to “fit most cans” more like only fits one size can. Wasted my money

Waste of money

I bought this lid for 13.2 oz canned dog food after my old lid was accidentally thrown away on Thanksgiving. It doesn't fit no matter what I do to make it.  The old adage you get what you pay for applies here. 98 cents for a lid that is useless to me. I won't be so stingy next time.

Doesn't fit

I use 2 different brands of dog food and have a tiny dog, so it takes us a while to get through a can. These were specifically called pet canned food lids yet they don't fit on any can I have. Just for fun I went through my pantry and tried them on my canned goods and they don't fit on any can that I have. I just don't understand that I wonder what they do fit on. Yes they were cheap but you certainly hate to just throw things away and then will have to find some thing else that actually will fit on a can of food.

Do not buy, they fit on NOTHING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dog/cat food cover was very cheaply made and doesn't fit a standard dog food can which is what I purchased it for. Instead I will use it on a cat food can. It also lacks a little tab to remove the lid easier from a can. Ordinarily these covers are designed for use on multiple sized cans.

It fits only 1 size of can. It is not what I ordered, it was substituted. I now have 3 of these instead of the 3 multi-size use lids I ordered. What is the point of sending the substitution notification email for approval when it arrives after the window to approve/disapprove is closed?
