I love Dream Matte Mousse Foundation.  I have used it for a number of years and always get compliments on my makeup.  Sometimes though I find it hard to find in the retail stores especially in my favorite shade Classic Ivory.   Please never stop making this makeup.   I don't know what I'd do without it.  Also, I have very sensitive skin and this makeup does not irritate my skin at all.

People really tear this foundation down. No one knew how to apply it correctly back in the day -- nor were the girls I know adept at matching their skin tones. WELL IT'S 2025! AND THIS STUFF -- when matched to your skin tone and applied in light layers with a flat foundation brush -- IS THE BEST, MOST NATURAL FOUNDATION OUT THERE! Please don't discontinue Dream Matte Mousse! C'mon I know there are other fans out there. Leave a whole bunch of 5 star reviews and perhaps Maybelline will reconsider?

This is THE BEST FOUNDATION. Hands down! I have sensitive, acne prone skin and am in my mid 40's. This stuff magically blurs my pores, lasts all day long and doesn't clog my pores. Please please please don't discontinue it!!!!

The best foundation

This foundation provides a photoshop finish in minutes when applied to undamaged skin. For most consumers, it's a great choice for its easy application and the even, flawless skin tone it produces. For those of us with damaged skin, however, such as scars, even pitted scars, it's the very best choice for smooth coverage. The thickness, yet "fluffiness," of this mousse foundation allows it to be buildable, and smoothable, making it the best choice for filling in those indentations. It's also a great choice for the most sensitive skin. Highly recommended!

Perfect for Flawless Skin, and for Covering Scars

I absolutely love the matte mousse foundation!! I've been using this product for 15+ years….literally! It's honestly the best. I always get compliments on my face that it looks smooth and natural like if I don't have anything on and honestly that's a win. I would highly recommend you to try it if you have been thinking about it.

I loooove this product! I have been using this for over 25 years! I have even swayed people from using their much higher priced cosmetics! If you discontinue, please send them all my way!!!  I'm still trying to get used to the FitMe powder after the translucent loose was discontinued. I'm not into cosmetics, I just know how to do my face which is complimented regularly. All I say is, it's Maybelline, and they scoff and then I'm giving them the details and pics of the product! Haha

Smooth coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn't the exact shade I needed. I didn't see the one I wanted. I saw this product cheaper at other places but they didn't have the shade either.

Maybelline Professional 

I LOVED this foundation and was an avid user in 2015/2016. I stopped seeing my shade in stores, so I thought it was discontinued. Very telling. Found it online and ordered, and what I received was nothing like what it used to be. I always was the shade dark, cocoa. This new formula has the color completely messed up. It leaves a white super ashy ghost-looking cast when before it used to a be a beautiful rich brown, and the shade lightened from what it used to be. What used to look like skin on me, now makes me look like a ghost. I will be returning and not looking back. Women with dark skin, essence has great mousse foundations that celebrate more of our rich tones. I will also be gladly giving my business to Fenty, another company that knows what they're doing when it comes to providing more than a few crumbs for women blessed with melanin.
