I purchased a Bissell upright vacuum 25 years ago. It still works great but I can't get a replacement filter for it, sad. I decided it was time to get a new vacuum. I did a lot of research on current vacuums, yes those other than Bissell. The Pet Hair Eraser Allergen Lift-Off Vacuum was highly rated by an independent testing company. I am very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It is easy to maneuver around, i like the swivel head. It isn't loud, much quieter than my last vacuum. It picks up great. I am pleased with my purchase.

Great vacuum, quiet, good price Bissell dependable

This is my 3rd Bissell product, I knew it would be amazing and it is.  Anyone with a pet or not should buy this.  I have carpet and Luxury Vinyl and it works great on both.  Gets the dog hair out of furniture, and what the broom leaves behind...I am not going to use the broom anymore, it isn't needed.

Amazing buy this product you won't be disappointed

I have owned several Bissell "pet" version products and I have to say this is by far my favorite.  The vacuum is extremely easy to use, amazing suction, my first run over an area rug that was "clean" pulled pet hair up that I had no idea was even there.  Love, Love, LOVE this vacuum!!!

Best Vacuum Yet!!!

Works Great. Really an upgrade to my old Bissell. Super powerful and the mobile canister is a dream for cleaning stairs now! 110% worth the purchase and would buy again or recommend to anyone! Cleans up SO much pet hair. I have 2 cats and one dog so it's completely necessary.

Love this product!
Easy as 1-2-3 to install and incredibly lightweight—exactly what I needed! This vacuum makes dealing with pet hair so much simpler. The Pet Hair Eraser technology really works, and I appreciate how the Allergen Lift-Off feature helps keep the air cleaner in my home. Setup was a breeze, which is a huge plus for me.
If you have pets and want a vacuum that actually performs without being a pain to use, I'd highly recommend this one. It's a game-changer!

"Finally a Vacuum That Actually Works for Pet Hair

I chose this model for the detachable canister which makes it easier to clean our car interior. I currently have another name brand shark which has done well for the three years I have had it but the rubber/ silicone was worn and I needed a replacement which I could not find. This was disappointing however, when I saw this Bissell model and used it so much lighter, quieter and very efficient. Absolutely love it!

Excellent canister vacuum

Easy to assemble, great suction, and lightweight with a great swivel head. I also love how the canister detaches for easy access to stairs and couches. However, this was advertised as a tangle-free roller brush and upon the first use, it was apparent that it's not. This unit is replacing an older model Bissell that I had for 7 years without one tangle in the roller brush. As a household with long-haired individuals and a dog, I loved that I never once had to touch the brush. I bought this model due to the advertisement that it would be the same. I am disappointed that this model does not deliver that feature despite being advertised as such and now I am stuck with a vaccum that requires this maintenance each time i use it.

Good vacuum, but brush isn't tangle-free

Picks up hair great but the electric cord is to short and the hose is to short. Need extensions to use properly without lifting the liftoff all the time to reach for cleaning. Extremely time consuming to dump and clean and really makes a mess when you dump it.

Pet hair eraser allergen lift off.

Returned the same day. The vacuum gave off a strong plastic odor while running and didn't clean well at all. It's much lower quality than their PetPro Heat 2X wet vacuum, which is sturdier and better made—though it's a different type of machine. This model was easy to set up and light to carry, but the cheap build and poor performance made it a quick regret.

Strong smell, weak performance — returned immediat

First off, it arrived with a faulty on/off, hardwood/carpet switch. I only got to use it twice and could no longer use the hardwood function. I did not like the C clasp for holding the hose as it protruded and made it difficult to maneuver underneath furniture. The tube itself had to be placed precisely to put it back into the holder, which I considered design flaws.  Additionally, the tube was shorter than every vacuum I've owned. The one thing I liked was the longer cord. Needless to say, I had to return it after the second use. I don't recommend this as I felt it was very cheaply made and poorly designed.

Returned after second use.
