Ease Of Installation

I have installed 2 of these already. My mother in law loves the security of having one on the deck and one on the concrete stairs. She has fallen a few times so it was time to get them installed. I like the speed of delivery and the price compared to hardware store prices. Easy installation, I would recommend to friends and family.

This is exactly what I needed at my side door. There are two steps at the side door and without a handrail,
any ice or snow made the steps very dangerous.  It never seemed to pose a problem when I was younger
but now that I am quite along in age I need a handrail to keep me from falling.  Thanks. Loretta

I needed a short railing for our front porch, just 3 steps over all, found this at Vevor (on sale to boot) arrived and I installed in less than a day. The pathway is stamped concrete and the top step is cement. Package came with achor bolts and a concrete drill bit. Railing is installed and very sturdy. Happy with the result.

Surprised by the quality and ease of install

I have never installed a stair railing previously but my 95 year old mother in law needed something to hold onto on her outdoor cement steps. I ordered this unit and I was absolutely amazed at what came for the price. Also, the build quality appeared and felt very good. The railing included self tapping screws for wood, anchors for concrete and a concrete bit, nut wrench and Allen wrench for installation. Now I was fortunate enough to have a proper SDS concrete drill and a selection of dits that made drilling the concrete a breeze. The concrete bit that was included was a different design than a SDS bit that I am familiar with, so can't say how well it would have worked if I could have tried it. The instructions could be clearer, but I managed to figure out that drilling a hole in the concrete and then putting an anchor loosely in the hole (railing base and concrete hole) kept the base lined up to start drilling the other 3 holes. I then moved the railing out of the way and finished drilling the holes to depth. I then moved the railing into place, tapped down the anchors and proceeded to tighten them. I had forgotten to bring my cordless nut driver which would have made the tightening much easier. Instead, I placed a flat screwdriver under the washer just to pry up the threaded shaft to set it into the sleeve enough so I could tighten the nut. Although the railing comes with a small 'stamped' wrench, I found a ratchet worked much better. As previously stated, I wish I had remembered my cordless nut driver. I finished the post installation while using a level and just tightened the nuts on 1 side a bit more to make it straight. Some thin shims could be used if your step is very unloved.  I didn't mention it previously, but I did assemble the rail before hand and loosely put it in place to figure out where I wanted it. In the end, if installing one of these railings into concrete, I would try to make sure you have a proper concrete drill and a proper sized bit (might be able to use the supplied bit). I would also recommend either a small impact or a 'driver drill' to get the nuts to bite when tightening.

Complete kit for easy installation with 1 caveat

I have rated this hand rail 5s and 4s,because I looked no further than vevor, I bought 2.I have made other purchases from vevor and felt comfortable with the purchase because of my past experience with the company. I am very happy with the hand rails They are quite heavy,  nothing flimsy about them. Fit together like a glove.  Easy to assemble. Great finish. I would buy them again.

bought this for the front porch which is  a simple 2 step up, worked great, easy to install had to use a SAE drill instead of the supplied drill bit which was too small.  very sturdy and heavy duty

The handrail was my first purchase from Vevor. From start to finish the process was excellent. No problems. I purchased another one and it was the same experience. I'll buy from them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Great price on sale

Very good quality product. 
The installation kit was problematic. It came with a 1/2 inch masonry drill bit, however, the hold down bolts supplied were 3/8 inch. consequently, the bolts did not hold and I had to go out an get new bolts since I had already drilled the holes in my concrete steps. That was a real bummer. How about a partial refund?
