This is an awesome firefighter set for little ones! There are so many great details like the ladder on the fire truck, dalmatian helper puppy, fire extinguisher, 'control panel' to locate fires on a 'map, and helicopter. This is also a great set because the fireman's arms and legs are posable! The colors are nice %26 bright and the appeal is huge. I love wooden toys for kids; there is something both nostalgic and very sturdy about using quality wood. This line from Hape is a great set of make-believe 'hero toys' for kids to use at a daycare, preschool, or of course around the home.

The make-believe element makes this great for language development and creativity. The realism of the firehouse allows for opportunities to build important vocabulary about city helpers.

I am a real grandma-my grandson LOVES this.  His dad is a firefighter in life so anything that portrays what dad does is usually wanted for the 4 year old.  This toy will last and he actually enjoys playing with it-as fire calls come in the fire truck rolls out. Impressed how sturdy it is as well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great fire station! Even better than I expected. My son is obsessed. Great little details, like a pulley system that sends the firetruck out of the double flapping doors, and a pole for the fireman to spin down. 
SO much better than dorky plastic toys, and for a great price.

Sturdy and Super Fun!

My Grandson loves this, he hasnt stopped playing with it. good quality, reminds me of older toys that last a long time.

My 3 year old grandson loves it and he climbs through the garage sometimes so I'm so pleased with how well it's made!

Sturdy and great Accessories

My grandchildren, ages 1-6, absolutely love this firestation. It has a working siren. a  fire pole to slide down, a helicopter, a firetruck and the cutest firefighter! I highly recommend this very well built, quality wood firestation for children!

A great toy at a great price  that my grandson was so excited to play with. Unfortunately, the included fire truck broke the first time it was accidentally dropped. A fire station without a fire truck isn't very much fun :(. I expected better quality from Hope.

This broke right away. Got a great price on it at Walmart, but it still wasn't cheap. Made me wonder if it was a knockoff and not truly Hape. My 2yr old grandson still plays with it, but it is extremely disappointing. When you buy this type of toy you expect it to last.
