I only crochet with Red Heart Yarn ever since my Mother-In-Law taught me how to crochet Afghans and since I was Confirmed into the Catholic Church, I crochet Afghans for the Ministry of Caring, Inc. since every year since 2019 to help feed the less fortunate so, I need the best yarn to do this.  I am able to put my hobby into good use.

I love this yarn for so many reasons.   Be aware that it is thinner than regular Red Heart and other yarn of the same "weight".   It can tend to separate, but I am aware of that because I have used it for several projects now.   The gradual change in color is perfect for larger items like shawls, afghans or coverlets.   I have used some blues and greens in a gentle wave pattern and really enjoyed working on my "beach" afghan in the winter.

Beautiful and useful but thin

I love this color and i like look of it the way the colors gradient its beautiful for a blanket.The only complaint I have is it smells really chemically and its strong.Ive used Red Heart alot but  ive never had an issue with the chemical smell.I dont know what happened here but just wanted to say something about that However I still love this yarn and will purchase again.

I’ve used red heart since 1957. 
I just love the new Ombré yarn they come out with.
I probably used 40 of them and each colors just beautiful!
If red heart yarn feels a little stiff in the beginning. It’s only because it has sizing in it just like your new clothes do once it’s washed. Oh my goodness it’s such a baby soft yarn. Enjoy.

The color is very pretty. I loved the overall color and feel and quality of the yarn the only pit fall was there were several knotted pieces of yarn throughout. The pieces of yarn were actually tied split and tied together which I found annoying. Otherwise, it was a good buy.

Red Heart Blue Yarn

It's red heart it's super saver it's sticky and gritty and not a lot of fun to work with but the colors are nice and you can soften it up when you wash it use fabric softener just be aware of that the color will fade.

It's red heart what can I say?

The yarn is very coarse and thick.  It is not very good quality.  I thought since it was a top brand it would be a better quality.  I was extremely disappointed with the way it worked in my project.  I ended up buying something else.

Poor quality yarn

The color is very rich. Why I purchased it for my project. However, it has turned my fingers blue. The dye is not stable. I’ll finish my project, but I’m hoping it doesn’t run and ruin all my work when I wash it. Will post more after I complete my project.

Dye job

Beautiful color but it's brittle sticky yarn it doesn't slip through your fingers it's really hard to work with I'm going to end up having to use this for macrame instead of crochet because it's just awful.

Sticky brittle and it splits

The first skein I started crocheting, once I got into the dark part of the ombre the dye started bleeding onto my fingers and hand. This is the first time this has happened.
