I convinced my husband to let me buy these headphones for him. I've had a pair of these for seven years and they still work great. They're worth the money. Sound and noise cancelling is great!

Worth the money!

The sound is really amazing. Listening to your favorite music with this is mind blowing.
The noise cancelling feature is almost perfect. Specially the Inmersive mode.
The other modes are also great.
The Bose equalizer and connection app needs a lot of improvement. It is too basic and disconnects frequently.
The earpads are very comfortable, but their construction /durability needs a lot of improvement as well. Mine just started to split and show the foam inside after two months of daily use.
Not what I expected from such a high end quality product.
The good news is that the earpads can be easily replaced.
The bad news is that a genuine replacement costs over $50 at the Bose online store.
So I ordered a custom made memory foam /fabric replacement (seems to be better quality) from a different manufacturer, at half Bose's price.

Amazing Earphones

The sound quality is good, but I've had several issues with connectivity a the headphones randomly shutting off. Also the ear pads started to fall apart after 6 months of usage and needed to be replaced. Otherwise the build quality holds up.

Great sound, Poor Firmware.

I really like these headphones because they cut out the outside sound when using them. However, the only thing I dislike so far is when I'm in a vehicle and my husband has the window down, you can hear crackling in the headphones. Aside from that, they are worth the money.

lite weight and comfortable but thin on sound. Not very customizable due to limited equalizer controls on app.
 i purchased these as an upgrade to my Sennheiser rs-175 headset $249 on sale.
 The Bose were inferior to the Sennheiser in sound but were more comfortable.

For the 400 plus price tag these are pretty bad, within a few days of getting these I noticed that it can't handle high volume for music or video it tends to make this clicking sound whenever the sound pauses or resumes and you can hear a rattling sound when ever you move so definitely not good for the gym or just any type of physical activity I had high hopes for these because all that aside these feel pretty light weight and comfortable but if it's not going to function properly then what's the point for all that buy the Sony Wh-1000XM4 or XM5 they have the same price tag, much better base, and don't have any issues with movement or sound.

Don't buy

Ear cups were a bit too small for my massive forehead all around it sounds decent and has good noise cancellation. Compared to my current headphones the xm5's from Sony it didn't sound good enough to overlook the comfort issues

All around meh

I had high expectations from these Bose headphones given their premium price tag, but I'm truly disappointed. I assumed paying more would mean better quality and comfort, but that hasn't been the case at all. The headphones press too hard over the ears, making them very uncomfortable and even painful to wear for more than a short time.

What's worse is that I've used cheaper models—some even from other brands—that are far more comfortable and user-friendly. For something in this price range, comfort should have been a top priority. Sadly, it feels like that was completely overlooked. Not worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for long-term comfort.

Disappointed – Not Comfortable Despite the High Pr

I owned the QC35 II for years and loved them. They were getting a little old so I bought these on sale for Black Friday. That was a big mistake. Bose's attempt at removing buttons is a swing and a miss, at least I know it is for my apple devices. The sliding volume rarely works like I want. I either accidentally change the volume or it takes 3 tries to get it to work. The old ones were so simple to use with the power button and actual volume buttons. This one, its just a pain to use. I will give them credit on the noise canceling, comfort and sound, but the upgrade in those areas were not worth it to me. I will research heavily before buying Bose again.

Swing and a miss on buttonless controls.
