I've been using this toner for about 6 years and it's by far the best on the market. I used 09V on length and 06N on my roots, perfect combo for me. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Redken Shades eq as a toner. This is the only product that corrected the orange brassiness after having hair highlighted professionally.

I just started doing my own bleach outs after watching 100 youtube videos (best by "World of Craig").  The most recommended toners were Redken Shades EQ.  I didn't know you could mix toners.  I bought Redken 10T and 9V.  I like icy platinum but not purple.  I mixed slightly less than 1 part 10T to 2 parts processing solution and some 9V so total ratio was 1 part toner to 2 parts solution.  Shades eq left my hair in great shape and toned the left over yellow.  (I bleached to level 10).

Redken Shades EQ is awesome

Good product leaves your hair healthier and shiny. If you have two Tones in your hair you donttones in your hair you dont want to leave it in too long because it will change the color of the darker color

I was expecting a platinum shade which usually contains silver/blue undertones but this Conor was extreme violet-pink. I was very disappointed as it did not go with my skin color nor was it true to its name. I washed hair with shampoo and perioxide as well as using a 20 volume peroxide with an extremely light blonde color hoping to remove the pink/lavender. Fortunately it did. I do not recommend this color at all unless you are looking for an old-lady  joker/lavender color.

Do not buy until you read this review!

This is more for a VERY professional use. Be prepared (even following directions - and using such product before) for your hair to be lavender. Lesson learned.
