My little grandson wanted me to knit a "Nana" blanket for him, but having carpal tunnel makes knitting very difficult. However, I found this great yarn and large needles and am able to knit without too much pain. He is thrilled, and now I am working on one for his sister. Nice yarn.

This yarn is a steal from Walmart and delightfully soft! Makes you feel warm and fuzzy without fuzzing all over you!

This is a great yarn however I do not understand why it is not carried in the stores but must be ordered through Walmart online.

Great Yarn

We ordered this yarn in order to complete a project.  We were pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be from the same dye lot that we had on hand.  Anyone who uses yarn will understand the importance of this.  The order was shipped to our store promptly and arrived earlier than promised.  The project has been successfully finished.

The right yarn

Made a scarf on size 11 knitting needles.  Bought an extra skein later for fringe.  Be sure to check dye lot on this yarn.  The extra skein was fine for fringe but would not have been fine for adding to the scarf.  Yarn itself is not super-soft like some of the 100% acrylics, but it does knit up very well.  No strands split as I was knitting (which sometimes happens to me with the super-soft 100% acrylics) and there were no tied knots in the skeins.  Excellent yarn.

Be sure to buy all yarn at once or check dye lot

First I am an absolute beginner at knitting, so I have tried various yarns to see what works good for me. Bernat and more specifically the softee chunky is by far the easiest I have found, plus it has a nice color selection. It knits up nicely and to me is a bargain

Great yarn and am making my Corgi a coat out of it.

Make sure before you buy this yarn you look at the size of the ball, I didn't before I ordered it and when I got it I was surprised that they were smaller than I thought which is not walmarts fault but when I tried to order more I couldn't because it's been out of stock. Sad face

The yarn came in good condition, but I've ordered it twice, and both times the tracking says "delivered" about two weeks after ordering then it actually came about a week after that, so I can't say it comes fast or the shipping tracker was accurate but the price was good.

This yarn feels really soft but I didn't quite get the results I was expecting with the project I used this yarn for. It was more bulkier than I thought it would be. However, I am only a beginner & had I known how to knit without a loom, I believe I would have had different results.

Great for the price

I am not an expert at knitting or crochet. I was confused about the size and price.
I would have had to order 3 items to knit the scarf pattern included. I only ordered 1.
It's beautiful yarn but not good for my purpose.

Too expensive for my purpose and only 2.8 oz.
