I love the vibrant colors of Red Heart yarn. I don't have expectations of softness. The price was definitely right. However the color way is called peacock and I did expect more than shades of teal. If it had been called teal tones it would have been a more accurate choice.

I have crocheted a couple of afghans with Red Heart yarn, while including this bright, high quality yarn.  It looks beautiful and cheerful with acrylic pink, acrylic yellow, and persimmon, with compliments from many people.

A Bright and Cheerful Afghan

Retro Stripe is my favorite colorway. Works great fir small baby items. As usual, Red Heart yarn is scratchy but does soften once it has been washed. Thankful Walmart had in stock and was delivered right to my door.

Red Heart yarn has been around since I was a little girl, if not longer. It's always good quality, and the colors are bright and clear when they should be, and muted and pretty when they should be. It's usually the only yarn I use. I'm a crocheter, and I make a little item called The Cross In My Pocket, to give to people, as my ministry, as I go about my days. At the doctor's office, the grocery store, the salon and more. I give them to my nail carrier, the trash collector, UPS, and FedEx people too. I've never had anyone complain about the yarn - the color fading, the strength not being good, or an off odor, as some other brands can have. I have however, had people who I gave one to, five or six years later, pull it out of their pockets to show me that they still have it. I love the verigated colors as they make such a pretty gift, without even changing the yarn on the needle. Even though that's an easy task when making a special color combination for a special order. This yarn is a great value too. Out of a standard skein of Red Heart yarn, I can get about 300 - 350 of the little Cross In My Pocket gifts !

This is a great product. The colors are bright. It gives you an even stitch. The gradual fade into their colors is perfect. The texture is good. The fear is soft this is a great product. I have bought it several times in the past.  The  softness of the yarn is easy to work with. I have bought this brand  several times over the last 30 years.  The yarn is easy to work with wheter you crochet or knit

Great Color combo

It's probably my own fault, but I was under the impression I was going to get the variegated black, white, gray, like I did last time. This isn't the same at all.

This color is Aspen Print, when I opened it it was blue where the green should be. I will keep it but it won't work for my project since it is not green.

12 skeins of yarn are one color next 6 are faded in color. after waiting over 2 weeks for faded yarns just ain't right. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for more and hope they match this time.

colors

I ordered 2 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver yarn in "Mirage" - which appears to have the color gradients:  off-white/ivory, different light blues, and some light beige. What I got are 2 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver "Pooling" yarn in "Mirage" but the colors are: deep cream, scant blues, and a ton of light beige, darker beige, and wet sand. So much more "brown" than the yarn shown. Also, nowhere in the description does it say that it is "pooling" yarn. It will be going back.

Color and type of yarn is wrong

colors seems a little muddy, i buy tons of variegated yarns, this one i was so excited about and not to mention had to wait forever for it to show up. it finally shows up and it is not what i expected.
