It is small, looks good, the grind is excellent, the grind selector actually works!, and it is QUIET.  It replaced a Cuisinart grinder that was INSANELY loud and had a totally non-functional grind selector.  The measure is great.  Using Starbucks french roast beans, one full load = 8 cups of strong coffee. Highly recommend.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was lost when my apartment building burned down. I liked it so much that I held off buying a grinder until I could remember where I had acquired it from. I now have it's identical replacement.
The unit is relatively quiet, has a large capacity for a single-person use grinder, has useful settings that work wonderfully and produce the described results. I love this thing, and I'm not the type of person to gush over products.

Excellent Grinder

I do apologize for the negative review on this appliance recently I tried to edit my review however there is no option to edit it.
it was my %100 fault for not locked the lid properly.
I’m sorry about that .this grinder work perfectly and not noisy at all.

Great coffee grinder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works as advertised.  Select 3 different grind options.  select cup size and the grinder makers a very accurate grind of the coffee.  Seems well made.  Love that the container is removable for cleaning and removing contents.  Nice storage for the cord.  Does 14 cups equivalent of beans at one time.  powerful enough for the job and not overly loud when running

I like that the grinder will stay on once you push it.  Many of the coffee grinders need you to continually hold the on button for them to work.  It grinds very well and is stable on the countertop.  I would definitely recommend this product!!

I found this grinder to be useful in many applications. Most importantly, the grinding bowl could be remove for cleaning, power cord could wrapped  around the base and covered after used . It was a positive experienced so far since i only used it several times. 
I have a con: I found the grinding bowl top edge felt not smooth (it felt sharp around the edges, but this is only my opinion as a machinist). I lightly used scotch-brite to smooth it out. Otherwise base on price and ease of use, it seems fair to me as I have used Hamilton Beach products in the past.

My honest opinions for this particular product.

Easy to use, compact, and nice appearance. Removable grinding basket and auto-grinding process. You just set it and forget it. The grinder does its magic and stops when done grinding according to the setting selection. It comes with a brush with a hidden storage at the back of the unit. Also, the power cable can be hidden at the bottom of the unit for storage, or so you don't have unnecessary cable length hanging around. A great value for your money.

Great Small Space Grinder

I love this coffee grinder. I hope they never new and improve it or discontinue it.  I have purchased 3 or 4 of this exact model in the 6 or 7 years that I have been using it. It's easy to use, easy to clean and takes up very little space on the counter.

Love It!

This coffee grinder works well once you figure out its idiosyncrasies. It is necessary to gently turn the inner metal cup to the right after inserting; it will not click, but it locks it in place. Then, you have to put the clear lid on correctly, with the printed instructions in the back, and turn it tighter than you think you ought to in order to lock it in place and allow you to start grinding. I like that you just push the start button and release for it to work. I found the coffee was ground finer than I wanted at first, but I was able to adjusted the settings to get a satisfactory result. You can also just interrupt the grind by pressing the power button again. I found that the noise of this grinder was not bad, either.

Great--once you get the hang of it

This grinder works really good.  Looks and works well.  Gave it 4 stars because its not a burr grinder.  way less expensive though.  Like 80.00 less than your cheapest burr grinder.  It has 3 grind choices.  Course, med., and fine.  It has a locking lid, which I like.  Select the amount up to 12 cups, push a button and it stops by itself when ground.  The grinding cup is stainless steel and all you do is give it a half turn to get grounds out.

great for an inexpensive blade grinder

At first, I really liked this grinder—it's compact, easy to use, and does a decent job grinding coffee beans to the desired consistency. However, the build quality is disappointing. The lid feels fragile, and with normal use, it didn't hold up even for a full month.
I would recommend the manufacturer improve the quality of the lid material.
