I have pretty sensitive skin that gets dry and itchy, especially after showers, and most body washes just make it worse—even the ones that say “gentle” or “for sensitive skin.”

This Aveeno one is actually gentle. It’s creamy, has no fragrance (which I prefer), and it doesn’t leave that squeaky, tight feeling after rinsing. My skin feels noticeably softer and less irritated. I still use a moisturizer after, but this definitely helps keep my skin calm.

I also like that there’s no strong scent—nothing to clash with lotions or perfumes, and nothing that lingers. Just clean and simple.

I’ve been using Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash (Fragrance-Free) for a while now, and overall, I’d say it’s one of the gentlest body washes I’ve tried. My skin tends to be on the drier side, and especially in the winter, most body washes leave me feeling tight or itchy. This one actually does the opposite—it leaves my skin soft, soothed, and comfortable after a shower. I don’t feel the need to slather on lotion right away, which is a big plus.
Since it’s fragrance-free, it doesn’t have that artificial perfume smell that some “sensitive skin” products still sneak in. It has a mild oat-like scent that fades quickly, which I appreciate. The texture is creamy but not heavy, and it lathers just enough without being overly foamy or drying.
If I had to point out a downside, I’d say it’s not the most “luxurious” body wash—there’s no spa-like scent or fancy feel to it. It’s very straightforward and functional. Also, the bottle could be a bit bigger for the price, especially if you use it daily.

It is a very good alternative to my regular body wash (lipikar AP+), with the addition that it does not have any small. Very gentle on the skin, it makes my skin less itchy but I did not feel the moisturizing effect i was expecting. i would buy and keep in my shower for me and my son.

I bought this body wash along with the hydrating lotion. My skin does not feel moisturized after showering and the lotion doesn’t last. My skin was flaky looking and dry feeling within an hour after applying.
