Was so skeptical to try this but my colorist was booking a month out and I was headed on a spur of moment holiday. Came out shockingly good! I'll admit, I was skeptical at first. I've never colored my own hair before — my highlights are usually done by a professional salon color specialist. But lately I've been looking for a more economical option, so I decided to try Clairol Root Touch-Up as a little experiment.

I'm so excited to report that it was a great success! The product was easy to use, covered my greys beautifully, and blended seamlessly with my highlighted color. I honestly can't believe how natural it looks — no harsh lines or mismatched tones.

This is the second time I have used this product, only been dyeing my hair last 3 years, because I wanted “ to go grey gracefully “ as I didn't have time to care for my roots. Normally I use cover sprays - until it gets too bad, and I still don't  have time to go to the salon, so resort to this. This time went blonde and was little concerned , shouldn't have been. Delighted with results, especially as going on holiday tomorrow ,so no chance to dash to salon!

left my hair softer and sleeker than before! i thought it was a little pricy but it works great! my hair seemed to turn out a little darker than the models hair and my hair way lighter before hand. but i still like the color. a little bit of my previous red tint pulled through. the comb included made it very easy to use. die washed out of my shirt when soemwas spilt below i have a picture of before and one of after my hair coloring.

Love using this to touch up around my face when the rest of my hair still has a few weeks to go till it needs colored again. This color is tough to find but through shipping I can find it.

Perfect fix for those few pesky grays

I used dark blond permanent root touch up. had 1inch of grey roots all over. There was enough for whole head of roots. I didn't manage the brush so just divided each segment and smeared it on with gloved fingers.

Easy to use great colour and hair feels lovely.

I just bought  this think it would  be good to color my gray Roots.  Well I tried and it is not just for covering  gray roots. When u are calling it a roottouch -up. It made my hair dry and hard to comb threw. So I think u should be call Root small touch-up spray. I would like a refund please.

This product  is  not worded  correctly

There's no way this color comes out “Dark Ash Brown”. So annoyed I wasted money on this.

Dye for 4A looks blonde!

Bought 2 Medium Blondes, one was fine but other...I squeezed out black from the tube!!! I'm so glad I didn't use that one. I've used this product before with no problems. Just wonder how many more of  #8s are bad. Would like to know. I usually love this product.

This is the first time I have used Root Touch-up.  I bought Shade 8 Medium Blonde as this looked the closest colour to my hair from the colour chart on the web page of Clairol, and also the box.  I tried out the colour test on a strand of cut hair, and thank goodness I did.  The colour is more like light brown, not medium blonde at all.  There is no way I can use this shade, it is so much darker than my roots.
