Can handle small bread sizes, but may struggle with larger ones.

I purchased a single grilled cheese maker and after maybe 15 uses the cheese stock so badly I could not remove it so I threw it away and ordered this one which said it was nonstick and also it makes two sandwiches instead of one. So far no problems. I love it. But the single one I bought cooked the sandwiches and then the light would go out so you knew they were done. On this one a lot of the times they are a little overcooked because there is no way to know when they are done.

I love this Sandwich Maker.  It is so easy to use and cleans up with just a wipe of surface.  I love that you can make a grilled sandwich in just a matter of minutes and don't even need to turn it over.

I love gadgets. Hard to believe that near my end, I'm getting my 1st sandwich press. I eat sandwiches regularly. My 1st purchase was a single press. Loved it so much that I traded it for this double. I'm having a blast coming up with new HOT sandwich variations.

Twice is nice

This sandwich maker is awesome! Heats up quickly and alerts you that it's ready to go. Takes about 3 minutes to make a beautiful sandwich cooked perfectly. It is best if you use regular or thin square bread so that it closes and latches with ease. Thicker bread can still be used though, just harder to close. Because the plate irons are larger than most sandwich makers, I had no ingredient overflow, making absolutely no cleanup on appliance. Love this! Seriously, this is the unit to get. Plus, it is very affordable.

My Husband Made Egg, Sausage, And Cheese Sandwiches In Ours Today And They Were Delicious! He Made Ham, And Cheese Sandwiches One Time And They Were Tough! I Had A Sandwich Maker Before And Pizza One's Turned Out Great! You Definitely Need To Butter The Bread So It Won't  Be Tough! I Don't Think That Is In The Recipes,  But I Always Did And They Were Never Tough!

No Way!  Stop.

I have mixed feelings on this product. I like the cooking surface and it does toast sandwiches nicely. But the design is awkward if you don't have square bread. I wish the two slots didn't have a deep diagonal raised ridge in the middle. I had to try to cut my bread into triangles to fit. 

I probably would spend more and buy a panini grill, but I'm on a budget and have minimal counter space for anything larger. 

Easy to clean overall.

plastic shell on top cracked in the exact same place on both sides when pressing the very first sandwiche. not thick just normal grilled cheese. clearly a design flaw. still cooks fine but it was a present for my 8 year old so we could cook together so disappointed that his first use had this negative aspect to it.

Flimsy, slow and standard sized bread slices exceed the size of the platens. 
Slow to heat, uneven browning and feels flimsy, especially the latch. Overall it's not impressive enough to keep. I'll be returning this for a more sizable and better designed product.

Unimpressed- returning

The sandwich press exploded in pieces when I tried to press a sandwich with it! The sandwich was not even thick!!! it was literally 2 pieces of bread, 2 cheese slices and 1 ham slice! How can a product suck so hard at its literal only function???
