The Avalon 3 Temperature Bottom Loading Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel body. It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. We have incorporated a nightlight that can be switched on from the back of the unit. This will make filling up your cup at night so much more simple and easy.

THE  PRIMOS  AFTER A FEW  YEARS START  FREEZING UP  , NEED TO  BE SHUT OFF  FOR A FEW DAYS  , OR REPAIRED - WALMART DON"T  BACK THEM UP .  I  PAID  MORE FOR THIS AVALON  , THAN   FOR A  PRIMO ,  BUT  LOVE THE  " JUST  RIGHT  -GREAT " NIGHT LIGHT  . THIS IS  ALSO QUIETER THAN  A  PRIMO  .   YOU  DON"T GET  PRIMO  WATER  COUPONS  WITH THIS  , BUT  WITH THE  GREAT NIGHT  LIGHT , AND BETTER  RATING  , IT IS A BETTER DEAL . AFTER 1  MONTH  , LOVING  IT  BETTER THAN MY  PAST 3 PRIMOS  !

It may not look as high tech as some models with only one dispensing button and outlet for all two or three types of water temperature but I like that the practicality of and ease of use with three separate dispensing buttons and outlet for cool, cold, and hot water. 
I have both type of water dispensers and this was base on my own usage experience at home.

In addition, the design detail of slightly bend design of inlet pipe maximize the usage of each 5 gallon water bottle. Even though this is a minor detail but shows the care and design put into this model.

A practical and ease of use water dispenser.

I really like this water cooler and was able to return the one I was renting from Costco/Primo to get this model instead. My husband isn’t the biggest fan of the fact that it doesn’t keep the water as cold as the Costco rental, but I actually prefer that the water isn’t super cold bc I can add ice to it. I also love that it fits taller water bottles and cups compared to the last one I had from Costco/primo and it looks nice, has a bottom load for the 5-gallon jugs. I personally think it looks better in my home than the Costco one.

Fits taller water bottles

Easy to use and sleek design - it’s an investment but only 1x and bought 2-3 jugs that you can swap out to refill only $8 per bottle - this is better costs than buying bottled water all the time or purchase those filter brands water pitchers which do not filter the water great and changing the filters so often is a pain and can be costly over time 
One thing I wish is if it was roughly 1-2’ taller so I wouldn’t need to bend down every time I am filling something up with water. The hot water is a bonus that I no longer have to boil water for tea  or use my Keurig to get a hot cup that ends up with coffee grounds in it. If they made one of these that was also an ice maker that would be an epic bonus!

Filtered water made easy

I've been thinking about gettting one of these for a while,  and couldn't be happier. This one is very simple to setup and we're reducing so many plastic  water bottles! Water is crisp and great. Only downfall was it was a little damaged on the corner. Can't see it so doesn't bother us.

I waited a long time before buying this particular one. I was looking at a lot of models. This fits my budget and needs.

Price is fantastic for a product that has great ratings and reviews.  It's working properly and I love the look and design.

I really like the machine, but it arrived with several dents on the side. It arrived today and was set up today so, there is not a whole lot I can say in this review about the use. It looks nice aside from the dents. The water was cooled pretty quickly upon set up. So far so good. I did not turn on the part to heat water due to having a toddler. Hopefully it works if I ever decide to use it.

Nice

Very flimsy construction.  Front door broke off first time it was opened.  Front panel not secured, flapped back and forth.  Hole the size of a dime on the top panel, covered by warranty card.
