It creates a hotel quality 100% true, total blackout environment while simultaneously providing absolute privacy, heating and cooling cost-cutting benefits, as well as sound dampening.<br><br>Thermaplus® curtains utilize a special technique of bonding multiple layers of foam to the back of each curtain panel. This ensures that every square inch is uniform in its protection without adding too much bulk. They are generally lighter than other blackout curtains on the market without sacrificing their ability to block 100% of the light shining through your window.  This non-toxic and odorless backing is applied with a white finish to ensure that the Peru collection meets condo guidelines and reflects sunlight. Moreover, this backing will cut your energy consumption costs by reducing drafts during the winter, trapping in the warmth, and keeping out the cold. You will also conserve energy during the summer by blocking and reflecting the sun’s heat keeping your home cooler and more comfortable. The added insulation dampens noise from outside, which is especially useful for those working unusual hours or consider themselves light sleepers.
