Can be exceptionally fresh, but may also be strong.

Product has a high freshness level when consumed.

Cooks food rapidly with minimal seasoning.

This is the only chicken I buy now. I trust Perdue in having no hormones, antibiotics and GMO in their products. I steam the tenders in a skillet of water with a lid until tender and feed them to my cat as her nightly snack. I eat them with Minute Brown Rice and Quinoa, veggies and Kinder Teriaki Ginger sauce. It makes for a tasty and healty meal.

This is stellar chicken breast meat. Love it sautéed, grilled, steamed, or in countless recipes. Our granddaughter uses it to make chicken pot pies in small glass containers with lids and freeze, to microwave when she gets home too late to cook a fresh dinner. Excellent texture and taste.

Excellent breast meat for recipes or just plain

Fresh Market Salmon is mouth watering good. Atlantic salmon seems to have more flavor. We like to bake it in our oven with butter, coarse salt and pepper for our evening meal. A side of veggies or a salad, rice or even a baked potato goes well. Family favorite.

Fresh Market Atlantic Salmon

The chicken breasts were preserved without hi amounts of sodium. The chicken breast was sliced horizontally to make even sicknesses for cooking. That is a great way to go!

Yay. No trace of fat.

The meat was exceptionally fresh, with a clean aroma and vibrant color that clearly indicated it hadn't been sitting around for long. What stood out the most was how tender it was. After cooking, it remained juicy and soft, making every bite flavorful and easy to enjoy.

Very juicy and tender

I was really disappointed with these chicken breasts , they were very stringy and tough to chew. I normally get the bag of thinner breasts but they substituted these because they were out of the other ones. I expect better quality when I'm paying for “Organic”.

Stringy chicken

I was impressed by the claims on the packaging, so I went with the Purdue. First I bought non/organic breasts, legs, thighs to boil to feed to my dog. I disappeared with the quality, so I paid more for the organic breasts. They were no better. They looked great in the package. Turned them over and they were a mangled mess. I boiled them for 30 minutes to 170 degrees. They looked like small random pieces of chicken were glued to a slice of chicken breast. I sliced through one lengthwise and there was a distinct line where it looks like that is exactly what they did. Because it was for my dog, I continued shredding the breasts. Some pieces were fine, but I had to throw away pieces that would not come apart. Again, it was like pieces were glued together. At my age, I have seen and cooked chicken many times. I have never seen anything like this. When boiled, chicken always leaves a type of scum in the pot, but this scum was so tough to get out, I had to scrub it with a Brillo pad. The next time I got a whole chicken (different brand) and it came out just fine. No Brillo pad needed to clean the pot.

Organic Chicken Breasts?

i noticed that one of my packages of chicken felt so much heavier than the other. it happened to be the highest marked price one so i got out my kitchen scale. ive been overcharged for chicken fo so long now. ever package weighed less than the marked weight- which i believe should be the weight of theeat only and not the packaging. we pay enough for our groceries these days. to find out that we're just getting robbed even more is absolutely frustrating!

I have purchased this item in the past and it's been fantastic; however, this item tasted VERY old - even after cooking in slow cooker for 6 hours on LOW it was extremely tough and had a bad taste to it, i.e. old. After cooking that long it should have fallen apart but it didn't. I put a request for a refund but WalMart is asking for the product back - how do I do that when it's been cooked and some of it has been partially eaten?

I find it very upsetting that the Monroe location is constantly sold out. This is the only chicken I will eat. If Wal Mart is sold out, I can't just run to Kroger or Whole foods and get it. I just don't eat chicken that week. From now on, I am going to buy every package they have.
