Produces high levels of noise during operation.

Enough to cool down a bedroom of about 200 sq.ft and easy to install, just watched a video in Youtube, no need to read the complicated manual. The two water vents look complicated, but just stick the included plastic duct to the upper water vent and put the other end in a water bucket is enough to drain water for whole day and more. At full capacity it is a bit noisy, but ok in the day, can turn down during sleep time.  Overall quite good, just would like to try if they later have dual-air duct model, one for incoming fresh air I think, and inverter version.

Works perfectly in my place and keeps everything cool. Also good for canceling outside noise if you like in an apartment building.

Works Great

Excellent AC! It is really cold, has different modes, and not loud. The only thing that I find it difficult to drain water after it accumlates because I have to lean it to the back for the water to come out or put it a higher level to be able to use the drainge hose.

Midea Portable AC

Works very well. I am pleased. 
VERY IMPORTANT - make sure you check that the small black plug at the very bottom of the air conditioner is closed -pushed in. I didn't check before turning it on. 🙁 lesson learned 😏. I caught it in time otherwise I would have had a water bed🤪😂

This air conditioning unit keeps my apartment quite comfortable and cool, especially with the heat and humidity and hot spells we have been having in southwest Ontario. Midea 10000 btu air conditioner

A little loud, and changes sounds depending on how much it needs to work (so harder to sleep with because the sound is not consistent and some sound changes are abrupt), but keeps bedroom super cool so it's definitely worth the purchase. Worked super well during recent heatwaves.

I have used this unit several times over a month for when the temperature inside reached 26c +
On the prairies.  Noticed the difference within minutes with the fan on high.  Does shut of when set temperature is reached, I reset the fan on low and my living room stayed cool and the fan, not too loud, for an evening of watching TV.

Pleased with my purchase!

Weak and instructions unclear. Manual comes with instructions for 5 different versions of AC and it is not clearly identified which is which. 
Could not cool off an office space less than half the size it is rated for.

This air conditioner is extremely loud. If you're looking for a quiet unit, this is not the one for you. Even on the low setting, the fan noise was so overpowering that I could barely hear my TV. Additionally, when the refrigeration kicked in, it produced an unbearable rattle/buzz, which I believe was a defect. However, even without the rattle, the fan itself was far too loud to be practical.

The remote control was also disappointing, often requiring multiple attempts from different angles to register commands. Frequently, I had to get up and use the button on the unit itself to turn it off and back on to reconnect the remote. I'm unsure whether this issue was due to a defect or poor remote functionality.

The cooling power was inadequate. Despite being rated for up to 350 sq. ft., it struggled to cool my 100 sq. ft. bedroom. It ran constantly during a heat wave, yet failed to lower the room temperature below 24°C. In contrast, my other portable AC (different brand) of a slightly lower BTU cools a larger area without any issues. 

To make matters worse, when I contacted Midea customer support regarding the noise defect, they were unhelpful. The box clearly stated not to return the unit to the store and to contact customer support instead. Despite providing proof of purchase and a video of the noise, I was simply told to return it to the store. Huh??? What is the purpose of the statement on the box then? This was particularly frustrating for me, as I am a visually impaired individual living alone, and the extremely heavy unit was difficult to move. The lack of support and rigid adherence to their policies left me feeling undervalued as a customer. Typical large company with no humanity and no desire to work with their customers to come to a resolution. 

Overall, I am thoroughly unimpressed. The product was noisy, potentially defective, and failed to cool effectively. Additionally, Midea's customer service was disappointing. I have since returned the AC and purchased a different brand, and I will be avoiding Midea products in the future.
