[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing set, the Barbie Dream Closet was even better than anticipated.  This one even had my teenage daughters and friends interested.  Overall this was a huge hit with my 7 y.o., she has been playing with it just about everyday since it arrived.  She had her 6 y.o. cousins over and they jumped right in with her changing outfits and accessories on all the Barbie's in the house.  I highly recommend for any little girls Barbie collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old was so excited and loves this closet it came with one Barbie and 3 outfits with accessories. Would not recommend if small children are around the small accessories like the bracelet are very small. There is no instructions in the box so was hard to figure out how to open it (which is by lifting the heart in the front up) the closet does have a part that lifts up by pulling out slightly the pink little button this is a little hard to remember for my 3 year old how to do it so she needs assistance with that part so it is kept up when she is playing with it. She has played with this non stop and was super easy and convenient to take to her grandparents to play with. This is a definite buy if u have a Barbie lover or a great start for a beginning Barbie lover!

A dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six year old granddaughter was so excited to open and set up the Barbie Dream Closet. I waited until she came over to open the box. She looked at everything on the box before even opening it and asked me, “Is this in there? Is this in there?” I could tell she was excited, so, the packaging is wonderful.
I was so glad that a doll was included, but in handling the doll, it seemed kind of cheaply made, compared to other Barbie dolls that I have had in the past.

The closet is two feet tall, which is nice, and also wide enough for two children to play with. The fact that part of the closet pops up, gives the closet its height. She did have trouble hanging things in that space provided in the pull up part. My granddaughter set up everything, by herself, and had so much fun doing it. I thought the hamper chute was not necessary. When I showed my granddaughter how it worked, she watched and then that was it. It didn't really interest her. I liked how many hangers were included (but it would be nice if the hangers had slits on them to hold straps better) and that there were lots of places to store accessories and clothes. I felt that some of the accessories were cheaply made (the necklace and especially the whistle necklace).

Although there are probably 400+ possible outfit looks, I feel like that is deceiving. It also says there are 36+ pieces, which is true. To be honest, after seeing both numbers on the box, after opening the closet and seeing what was inside, I was disappointed. 

I liked the stand that you attach to the doll to make her stand. My granddaughter did not think that that was what that piece was for. (It isn't pictured on the box being used like that)  I demonstrated it for her…she didn't want to use it!

I did like how the closet packed up to be carried elsewhere. I felt it was well made and very durable. I also feel like the closet, itself, will provide little girls with hours of imaginative play.  I watch her one day a week, and the Barbie closet is always the first place she goes. Her three year old sister enjoys playing with it, also, but I focused mainly on how the six year old interacted with it.

It doesn't open when you walk around or if you drop it ! The material is stronger than another one I had and it's easy to clean it ! The variety of clothes that come with it is perfect and they easily hang on the included hangers. The closet is sturdy and they love the pop up room and the laundry shoot with hamper. It has lots of storage for accessories and a stand for the included Barbie. The desk is the perfect touch to role play working Barbie. Overall,  I would definitely recommend this product.  Its the perfect birthday or Christmas gift!

Awesome Product

Not only the ones that come with, but all the extra accessories we have. It has the cutest little desk/work area for the doll. The hidden compartment is such a hit with my daughters, as well as the laundry shoot! My 4yo keeps asking for a laundry machine now to mimic mommy's work. Overall, a great closet.

Best Barbie closet ever!!

The only negative I had was that the doll that came with the set seemed to be made of a cheaper plastic and her joints didn't move well. Overall, a great product!

Great for quality playtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The carrying case is a big hit, however we wish the case would be a solid plastic case front/back, since the cardboard cut outs will fall apart if wet and then pieces will fall thru the open spaces!  The laundry shoot drop is my daughters absolute favorite part! There are a few spots inside the carrying case closet that seem as if they should  have a little door to hold pieces in specific sections, but my daughter doesn't care, she loves it anyways.
