Harder and more appropriate for the older kids than basic shapes. More puzzle-like. The ice creams must go in a specific direction and the shapes are similar. Also live how can be used as a toy car as well so double the fun!

My 15 month old loves pushing the ice cream around and putting the ice cream shapes into the main compartment, as she has not mastered shape sorting yet. I love the cute pastel colors. This is such a cute and durable toy.

I love that the top comes off to grab the ice cream pieces. My granddaughter loves putting things in and taking them out again, in addition to pushing things around. This was a win-win on that front. This kept my granddaughter very interested and she played with it for a long time.

Spectacular Fun and Learning Set!

Obsessed right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher Price Wooden Ice Cream Shape Sorter Set is such a quality product. It is made from strong, sturdy and smooth wood which comes with zero danger of splinted wood! This aspect is definite plus because we all know that the intended age for this product puts a lot of toys in their mouth! The colors are very vibrant and soothing and it gives the feel of an actual ice cream truck! This product has an excellent design and study wheels which makes it easier for the intended age to push the product along on either hard wood or carpeted flooring. The shape sorter cut out on the side of the truck provide ample room for the ice cream items to be inserted which creates a most pleasant playing environment because the little ones are not getting frustrated because the ice cream shapes are too hard to push through! This product definitely promotes individual playing time as well as playing time with others equally enjoyable. I love the fact that it helps the intended age develop problem solving skills during independent play! If an ice cream shape doesn't fit, they learn to try one of the other openings to push the ice cream through! The only aspect of the product that caused any frustration at all was if the lid of the ice cream truck fell into the main body compartment, it proved to be difficult for the intended age to pull back out the top of the ice cream truck. The lid had to pulled out through the front windshield of the truck which is not a major issue but has to be learned by the child. All in all, this product provided many minutes of pleasurable and entertaining play time!

First of all the packaging is amazing.  As a parent was great!  It's plastic free and was so easy to open.  There was not a million plastic tabs to cut or unscrew to get to the toy.  Second the quality is amazing.  Then the shapes and colors are so cute.  My daughter loved all the ice cream shapes she would pretend to eat them before putting in the ice cream truck.  The only downside of the toy is that some shapes have to go into the sorter a certain way so my daughter would get frustrated.  Overall this is a great toy

My toddler really enjoyed taking the lid off and putting it back on, as well as matching the ice creams to the cutouts in the truck. I also caught them using the ice creams as play food and licking them a few times! I love how the toy looks in our house too. It's colorful while still looking very pretty.
