Very soft for a wool, and the cable definition is really pretty. It is a looser spun yarn so it does split every now and then if I'm not careful, very easy to poke my needle inbetween the plies. I got the free lion brand fisherman's wool Aran sweater pattern on their website and I'm so excited to see the sweater finished. P.S I messed up on the pattern but haven't fixed it yet. So if it's not super pretty it's probably because I messed up the pattern 😂

Very good quality/price ratio

If I'm going to put my time and effort and talents into creating a project, I am not going to use cheap yarn. Lion Brand Fisherman's yarn has a consistent quality that I can count on. My end results are beautiful... Both visually and to the touch. Rich, warm, and everlasting with proper care. And for wool yarn, it is extremely cost-effective. I love it and I'll buy nothing else!!

Why would anybody buy garbage yarn?

Seems to be pretty good quality. I was using it to make dryer balls and it didn't break under tension unlike some others I've used. It didn't felt up as nicely as the other colors for some reason, though and required more wash cycles

Beware!Supposed to be a 3 pack for one money .....

The yarn is great, but you only get 1 skein instead of 3 like the description and picture indicate.
