[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is just starting to play with Barbies so I figured we would start with a couple of the cheaper ones. Barbie is just as described. I do remember my barbies (way back in the day) feeling like they were made out of better materiał, these feel extremely plastic-y but like I said it was a $10 Barbie so you get what you pay for. Only complaint I have in general is WHY does Mattel put rubber bands over the hair! it leaves creases that are soo hard to get rid of :/

This is my new favorite Barbie.  I never had a 1992 Totally Hair Barbie but this 2024 Anniversary remake is something else and totally cool.  One of the best Christmas presents I ever got.

New Fashionista?

So the thing about the basic playline Barbies... you ain't paying for quality. As an adult collector, if I want quality, I go to Barbie Signature and splurge. But the occasional cute playline doll can be fun - especially with these nostalgic releases. This is a modern dupe of Totally Hair, and she is... not. Her hair is not very long and it's rough just out of the box. But she can be styled to cuteness. The dress is decent quality for a cheap doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought her onmy for her outfit. Her hair came crimped and when I took it out of the packaging, lots of the hair was completely fried and damaged beyond repair. It's a factory/manufacturing issue. Made me sad anyway, though.

..Todays " Barbies " do not have quite the level of quality of years past ...which is a shame .But I still want my granddaughter to enjoy the fun and hours of imagination that havibg Barbies and a Barbie house brings to playtiime. This  particular Barbie is very cool,though and I appreciate the Vintage 60s/ 70's  Vibe of her.
